If you don't understand that our lack of pace of FB is a problem, and that we are playing relatively worse football since the Walker/Rose tandem. Then I cant help you.
Read the last paragraph of #932 before you spout off.

All the arguments on here have substance behind them because all three of our right backs have flaws. Aurier has judgement issues. Trippier has issues with pace. KWP doesn't have the experience. Perhaps with time and Poch's tutelage, Aurier's decision making can improves. Perhaps Poch can use formation more effectively with Trippier rendering his pace less important (and help him on his judgement too as he does sometimes stab at the ball in the wrong location). Perhaps, KWP will get that experience that allows him to play with more savvy. But suffice it to say, none of these guys is a slam dunk week in, week out player. That makes using them more situational based on the opponent which then forces adjustment to the team's tactics. At this point, it isn't an either or as no one has stepped forward to make a clear and unambiguous claim on the position.
For some, it is what will decide whether they go to heaven or hell in the afterlife.Just my opinion...and also not Spam.
Neg repping is a big thing for some of you too.
Nice.
OMG yes KWP plays on the right and Aurier on the left
Hope thats KWP at RB and he starts again Saturday. Would like to see Eyoma, Skipp and Marsh come on tonight and play some good minutes.
And Aurier already driving at players from LB.
Wasn’t it Antonio who tore our fullbacks apart last season? He can’t get past KWP
KWP looking MVP again. He really should be getting PL games. Ahead of Trippier. At right back. For us.
Why don't we swap Aurier and KWP? Antonio's too bug and strong for KWP and the West ham winger's too fast for Aurier.
This is KWP first game for us since May, stop being so harsh on him. And Antonio is a difficult player to play against, fast and strong
Would switch Aurier and KWP. The latter is having a nightmare, outpaced and outmuscled everytime.
KWP is holding his own - mostly. Enough that I would not hesitate to sell Trippier to free up funds.
KWP hasnt had the best of games but I still would not hesitate at all to say he should start Saturday.
I want Aurier to be our number 1 right back.
think aurier has looked ok at left back, as natural as davies ever looks out there anyway
Aurier or KWP werent necessarily great but honestly, MUCH better performances than Trippier or Davies have had all season so one of them should start at RB on Saturday.
-------------------------------------------------------At this point? KWP. Trippier has begun to scare the shit out of me this season.
Not about nationality yet you managed to accuse a nationality of not knowing anything about the sport? With all due respect mattie, you've been on SC for a pretty long time and aren't as vocal as some of the fans I'm referencing presently. Edit: (Also your daughter is adorable there)
It's not just about nationality here btw. We disagree about full backs and some are more obsessive about beating their respective full back drums during the match threads...here are some opinions on the full backs last night.

Back to the thread, as said before I don't think KWP is ready, I feel he needs a loan (Championship to be guaranteed any playing time IMO and also to see if he can handle the physicality/toughen him up), he also needs to hit the gym and get stronger, a lot stronger and he needs games to improve.
We are 5 points off the top of the league and it's just turned November, IMO now is not his time...but I'm sure this is all spam.

Ah i see. Guess I missed that memoNew rule states you have to be a fan for 25 years if you aren't from the UK before you are allowed to post about fullbacks.
Personally I have issues with the defensive side of Trips game. He can't deal with fast wingers at all. When playing a high line and supposed high press you need your backs to be quick. He's a hard working full back who works much better in a 5 at the back rather then a 4 and clearly has a good delivery. But for me he is not dynamic enough for us and yes, not fast enough. As for Aurier, is he perfect? No. He may not even be better. But he seems to have improved in the few games he has played this season and should be given a shot before being written off. What I can't understand is, so many fans laud Poch's ability to greatly improve players, especially full backs, both Rose and Walker dramatically improved, even Trips, under Poch's guidance. Yet despite that some fans have already written off Aurier after one season and want to sell him. It baffles me. He may not become the player we hoped he would be, but Walker didn't become one of the best RBs in Europe overnight. On top of that Aurier was always going to take a while as he has had to adjust to the PL. He may never get to that level and we may need to sell, but he has shown encouraging signs and I don't think Trips form has been the best of late. Personally I would like to see Aurier get some starts and see if he can develop into the player we all hope he can be.With all due respect mattie, you've been on SC for a pretty long time and aren't as vocal as some of the fans I'm referencing presently. We were having a perfectly pleasant debate until you started spouting nonsense about peoples nationalities. You've 25k posts in 5 years, thanks for incessantly sharing your opinions. Your age does make sense though.
Also, you two are getting close to almost being worth ignoring tbh...I did say most of the more vocal fans and that it's not just about nationality, but whatever. You two are amongst the worst culprits, but again, just my opinion.
All the best, time to stick eachother on ignore if you can't have a debate without being triggered into just spamming for the sake of it.
It kind of is when there's a very vocal (strong post count to date joined ratio and tbh, most do seem to be American) section of the forum, who I do happen to think actually haven't got a clue about the game tbh. It's just my opinion, but it seems a lot of the newer additions to the forum do like to assign individual blame for every point lost or goal conceded and to be honest, that's not how I ever really view football.

You could argue it controversial (I honestly don't mean to offend), but I'd say growing up somewhere where football is the main sport culturally and you've lived and breathed the sport gives a certain perspective that (in my opinion) is vastly different from some of the posters I'm on about.
I'm a bred pessimist thanks to having my heart ripped out from me multiple times.Yeah fucking hell @yankspurs you have the optimism of my dad and he's mid 60's, what happened
