I certainly think the Huddersfield defenders would disagree about him lack strength. First half was very good, second half he visibly tired after about the 60th but he was still pressing the best he has all season, linking play well and showing for the ball, I'd wager he saw more of the ball in the second half than in the full 90 of any other match this season.

Strength gets him past the defender with the ball at his feet. Too many times he simply just lost it but at least he was doing the old Kane things, just not coming off.
Remember as well this was a woeful Huddersfield defense.

One swallow? The bloke who has scored 111 goals in 156 games?

History. Talking about this season and post injury where it is accepted by most that Kane has not been the same player.

Cristiano Ronaldo didn't score in his last game, he must be shit? Kane has 5 goals and an assist in seven games in the premier league. Pretty good numbers there.

No wonder people hate spurs fans.

Definitely an improvement today, he was quite involved which is more than you can say about a lot of his previous performances and seemed back to his fighting self.

Who is disputing the numbers?
My point and the point of many others is his contribution in open play. It is generally accepted it has been some way off the level he had before his injury. Can't you see that?
To me he doesn't look sharp and his contribution today was a pen and a header, with his feet in open play he was not sharp but it was an improvement on recent games. Hopefully the improvement continues.

I was replying to your comment 'One swallow...' like he hasn't been nothing but superb for us and hasn't won the golden boot twice in a row.

The bloke isn't in the greatest form and even then he scores two goals today. I don't know what more you really want him to do?

Kane has not been as good this season, he was fine today, he's joint top scorer in the league despite not firing on all cylinders and has scored in 4 out of 7 fixtures.

Clearly One Swallow doesn't relate to history and the original post refers to the 'old' Kane.
I've clearly said he was better today, certainly in the 1st half. Second half I thought he was poor, greedy and losing the ball as he looked knackered (so not sharp)

The concern with Kane as he is now is that as the forward focal point his poor outfield general play affects the whole team and performances. I can't honestly say apart for the 2nd half vs Man Utd that we've looked decent and comfortable this season so far.
If you want to happily clap on the back of numbers that's your choice.

His best performance this season imo. He making runs with the ball, off the ball, pressing, taking up good positions. And he scored two goals. I don’t see how anyone can moan tbh

It took Wrighty over fifty more games to reach that total as well.
And Wright had 7 seasons playing in the Premier League, was already very experienced and Arsenal's main man when it started, and his first three seasons were in a 22 team league.

To be fair this is one of the occasions where just looking at Premier League goals doesn't tell the whole story. Apparently Wright scored over 300 in all competitions which is an amazing record.

Oh it absolutely is, 324 by the way, and Kane has 161 at just 25. At the rate Kane is going I think he’ll get there and then some.

Some of these stats are just mind boggling. 10 behind Dwight yorke who played in a dominant united team in 219 less games lol.

Most of his league goals were at villa, he only scored about 50 odd for united in less than 100 games.
