What a result. Lucas is practically a new signing. The only downside to that match is Lamela getting injured in the warm up as he had looked exciting last game. But Lucas is proving himself and perhaps taking Son's position permanently... We'll see after Sonny wins the Asian Games ?

Did Carragher really just say “everyone’s taking about Liverpool why is no one talking about spurs, who’ve finished above them the last 8 seasons” !!!!

@heelspurs If we went 5 the game would have closed up and we would have retreated into our shells and sat deep.

As long as the game was left open we had a very good chance off taking all points.
I take your point but do we typically sit deep with 3 CBs? no. Absosrbing and countering is what got our best performances in the CL last year and can be argued is out best tactic with the 'MFs' we have seeing as they can't pass or pick up the ball on the half-turn. 4411 helped but we still had Dier giving us a false sense of security and getting bypassed which is more dangerous.

Watching Poch giving hugs and kisses whilst lifting Lloris shows what a type of manager we got ❤️
