The state of you lot because we didnt sign Grealish or some other players that wouldnt get in our first team.

Not just this window though is it?

We have a positive spend window after window, year after year.

Last year, we had 80 plus thousand gates. We are all here for a dcent team.

It’s bordering on criminal what has been done this window.

And don’t bring up the stadium - that can be paid and mortgaged over 25 years.

We want jam today, we are sick of promises for tomorrow.

Sack them by the wallet

Lol. Then they sell kane to make up the shortfall, you'd be well pleased i guess? Kill the club to get enic out?

I'd like new owners have said so for a while now, problem is nobody seems interested.

Mate they won't be worried about people not going to games as another mug will replace them, I mean I just got in tonight to find my Mrs had bought me the elite shirt no less at a cost of £90.
The irony was not lost on me as i realized he got her money today and we got fuck all back I had to laugh as the **** done me without looking he is clever you know.:ROFLMAO:

Does anyone else get the feeling they may be looking to sell off the club after stadium is complete or is it just a fantasy I have thought up after my dissapoint of no signings?

A question.....

Does anybody know what the financial state of the club is regarding the new stadium and how much is paid from our pockets already and what the debt will be? I think we had a 200m.loan facility right? So if that was the case then the rest is already paid for with money that has NOT been invested in the club.

I actually already think the sale of the club could be lined up for a year or 2 away. I get the feeling that enic will look to pay the 200m(if it was that) and pocket the sale (1.5b) and go.

The only upside is we would be debt free pretty fast and have a HUGE income revenue but ONLY if we are still doing well on the pitch.

How have we improved so much year on year then, if we are being held back so badly? Has any other club in the last 10 years improved so markedly relative to their peers without being taken over by oil money? If you think so, name them.

We have gone from competing with Blackburn and Villa for Europa Spots to being a bonafide CL team with players know and admired around the world.
What is it you think youve been promised ; the world cup top scorer? Champions league football 3 years in a row? The captain of the World cup winning side? The most cutting edge stadium in world football?
How can you seriously say we dont have a decent team, go and watch some of our matches in the CL last season.

We cant compete on the same terms as the teams that we are now sharing a weight division with. Did you not know that?

Ah well. Nobody likes change.

Atletico didn't sign anyone last summer because of their transfer ban - last season improved league position from 3rd to 2nd, and won the Europa League (albeit because they flopped in the Champions League).

Wasn't any disaster for them, and I do believe it won't be a disaster for us.
It's not a disaster but it's not good management either real let down but hey we can't be surprised he is what he is so grin and bear it, but I just hope injuries don't get too severe the quality in depth isn't there which is why we needed to have invested but never mind.

They might - but until the naming rights is sorted and some of the loans repaid - I doubt anyone is going to meet their £2bn asking price, and pay the stadium off too.

We do have a decent team but we need work to maintain that position.

We can compete - our revenues are greater than £400m with 80k crowds. Anyway, I’ve never mentioned other clubs, only interested in us. And to me spending big in a one off window going into the new stadium was a realistic expectation. Sometimes and at the right time you have to overpay - to me we needed to do that as a one off - eg Martial for cover in two areas

Great, thankyou.

But does it show how much is borrowed from that 496m? And of course that would have risen by now. Im pretty sure i saw a 200m borrowing figure banded around and of that 200m we had drawn out 100m.
Like alot of people id like to know the bigger so i can see how much we are in debt and how long it will likely take before we are at full tilt financially.

What is the point in the ITK forum? I swear it is people like you and I just making random stuff up like Skysports do.

You are welcome to feel that way but keep it to yourself. Many people enjoy reading the itk, they might not post if they get slagged off. So try not to spoil it for everyone. Personally i take everything with a pinch of salt regardless.

We paid that £100m back in december. We have probably borrowed more as the build is underway.

Liverpool's owners have less money at their disposal than ENIC and are strictly businessmen, only in it for the money. Based on their experience with the Boston Red Sox, they have found that producing a winning team is the single best way to maximize profit. So make no mistake, it does not require a sugar daddy owner, merely one who prioritizes winning. We don't have that and that is a problem where the entire product is based on a competition.

they have bigger gate receipts and a bigger brand with more merchandising revenue. we've finished ahead of them in the league for 8 of the last 9 years so Im not sure how much prioritizing of winning they are doing.

Football isn’t about transfers, your so overly obsessed it’s unhealthy. I swear you guys learn nothing. If here was nobody worth getting I’d rather sign nobody going buy our past attempts at signing filler.

No other set of fans in the top six settle for just making up the numbers like Spurs fans... we demand nothing, they take our money and we think ah well its better than 10 years ago. Its unacceptable and Levy should know we are not happy. I know Spurs fans who have died waiting to see Spurs win the league and I don`t want to be one of them. I think Levy and Poch should take into account how much people invest emotionally and economically in the club. If we can`t afford come clean but dont tell us we have a competitive budget and spend fuck all. I dont believe the rubbish about its so difficult to improve our first 11 because they won nothing so there is still plenty of improvement to be had in my view.. Man City won the league by 23 points and still went and got Mahrez for £70 million. could go on but too angry!

Spurs will now equal Arsenal and Man Utd for match day income something like an extra £60 million a season increase on the old WHL

This project shows really no need for this penny pinching behavior !!

Have to agree always hoped to see us win the league one day and with my old man into his 80s now that poor fucker has no chance in fact when I'm his age I still won't have seen it.
And yes I agree there is no excuse for not being able to find anyone to improve the squad that is frankly bollocks we have money but chose not to spend any which is of course their prerogative, but the fans will buy many things shirts, cheese rooms and expensive beers but they certainly won't buy that bull shit that's for sure.

It's very disappointing not to add any players this summer but only time will tell if this effects our results and performance on the pitch. It's almost unbelievable, we had better not sell anyone abroad or I would fear for Levy's safety. He might need to add a bullet and sound proof dome around his seat in the new stadium.
