It’s amazing isn’t it. Always comes down to the BSoDL. This window has been all behind the scenes and probably for the better. Zaha, Grealish, Martial, De Ligt, Pulisic, Gomes, Dembele, all the potential ins and outs.

It’s just which side of the fence are you on when it comes to the BSoDL. It wouldn’t be a window without some drama left to late.

Is Levy still in the States? Just curious if that could mean we may hear more ITK today or if it’s about shut down bc it’s evening in London.

This is my first post guys but have to say I love coming on here , I’ve been hooked every day for weeks (even while on my honeymoon lol) love the ITK Info and can’t imagine for a second why anyone would question it. And well done A&C , great to see a thread being run so well, keep up the great work.

i doubt it filters through that quick mate, Id imagine the stuff we're hearing is a good few days old.

This. If martial doesnt have a 1 year team option then i would say manu might be at a disadvantage. If they do have that option that means they can still sell martial next season, which from manu standpoint, its better to hold up martial for 1 more year, sell him next year, then buy toby for 25, than to strengthen us.

I think we should take that zaha deal now and get a centreback ready. If manu blinks then its martial zaha + back up cb, if they dont then at least we have zaha.

But aside from that, we should still be looking for a top cm

Not sure we need both. Would rather get 1 and spend big money on a CM.

I’ve not got the strength to go through the whole thread, I read one page of arse dribbling from virgins and it gave me leprosy.

Anyone kind enough to summarise the goings on? Are ITK saying we’re in for Martial and Zaha?

Herc said martial links won't go away, and that it's likely to be one or the other(ie Zaha). He also fancies our chances w/ zaha and added a few details on the first page.

With the itk’s saying it’ll possibly come down to the last day of the TW, I really think Levy needs to modernise his transfer policy.
Waiting until the end of TW’s hasn’t worked for a good few years now, deadline day is now pretty much dead for transfers compared to what it used it be. Very few teams wait until late and have sown up all their business, meaning they won’t be forced into selling someone to get a player in.
Also transfer fees have been massively hiked towards the back end of TW’s. Look at last year, Neymar’s transfer increased every other one by a big margin. Possibly if we had gone in early, we could’ve got Sanchez for less as the market had gone crazy by mid August. May have happened with Grealish this year.
Also the Sissoko transfer. We could’ve got a few better players in early (Zaha) that transfer window for less than we paid for Sissoko but Levy thought they were overpriced. Newcastle stuck to their guns and we paid more for Sissoko in the end cos we were desperate and got a worse player.
Massive Levy fan but think he’s stuck in the past when thinking value can come from waiting.

Fee agreed with Zaha, we haven't spoke to him directly all been through agents expect movement in next 48 hours and our offer is a very good one but the Martial link won't go away and poch has been PROMISED the 3 signings he wants.
