Think he would be a great signing. Always exciting to bring in players with his level of talent

Yeah but last night on the radio Rose was saying his first three loans in the Championship were a nightmare. It's so hot and miss, and the chance of finding your player the right club, where he'll play are minute. Can understand why Poch wants to keep them close.

I totally understand that. And, anyone who looks at our loan track record can attest to that. We're miserable at finding suitable places for players to go get experience. It's been a problem for years and well before Poch.

I don't think he will be developed as a left back. From what people who have watched him describe him, long term playing him at left back is limiting his capabilities.

He'll have to earn his stripes like every other player so the boy shouldn't expect to be involved right away. It's likely initially he'll be phased in at left back in cups and as a fresh legs substitution so he gets up to speed and learns what Poch demands in his system. Then in time his progress can merit starts on the wing.

I don't think we are miserable. Unless you can finance feeder clubs like Chelsea, there are very few suitable clubs in the lower leagues, and sending them abroad has its own issues. Even if you find the right club with a brave, forward thinking manager, it's still not guaranteed to work.

From what little I have seen of him, he can tackle and tackle well. I don't see much point moving him to left wing. If Poch can teach Rose how to play defensive football, imagine what he could do with a talent like Sessegnon

Short term at least we should use him as a left wing back as I think he offers us something similar to what Rose does.

Sessegnon has played 2000 minutes all season in league & FA Cup

Goals - 7 (5 goals coming in League)
Assist - 5

More importantly 0 yellow or 0 red cards from his LB position the whole season, especially playing for a free flowing open style football Fulham play...Regardless of the level he is playing in or his age, thats an incredible record defensively & offensively

Half of his games were played as a LW though

According to transfermarkt website, he has got 4 goals & 2 assist playing from LB. Overall he has been played more at LB that at LM. But I guess lad is suited both areas and as a wingback in a 3-4-3 could be ideal

Confuses me why people always talk about playing players on the wing when we don't play with wingers?
