Crazy that we didn't even get close to Chelsea in the end.

****s

Which is why you need to credit Chelsea, through gritted teeth.

Any other year it would have been us.

What I'm encouraged by is the momentum we carry into pre-season now, unlike last year, where we started with a hangover.

But we only pay him thruppence a month

I know people always say "Well if you were a footballer, you would want more money as well, what if you got injured?"

That's all well and good but these players get paid upwards of £60kpw you could retire in a year and be comfortable for the remainder of your life on that kind of money.

I don't begrudge them earning money but I really dislike the pity party about how they could earn more money.

A player needs to use common sense and look at how a team is performing, it's surprising because Kyle has been through the shit with us for years and now suddenly we are hitting a really good patch and he wants out?

It's one of two things, he never wanted to be here in the first place (which I doubt) or there is something deeper going on here than money.

I wouldn't want to leave this team, even if I wasn't a spurs fan, I would be begging my agent for a move here.

Does anyone know how many Premier League games Harry missed through injury?

They had no European football this season. Makes a big difference.
Fair play to them though - they had the league wrapped up at christmas, and were professional about seeing the season out - rarely dropping points they should not. Worthy champions, unfortunately.

There was a stat on MNF where they showed the amount of lineup changes a title winning side makes throughout a season and if memory serves me correct it's usually around about 110ish - Chelsea's was like 38 or something.

Says it all and how much more of a test next year will be for them.

I'm sure it would be about the same for Leicester. We really have been unlucky to have our 2 best title challenges so far against teams with no Europe and very few injuries. Maybe we will get lucky next season!
