Tbh I think he has a good game. If one of our defenders had put in that performance and we had won we would have been all over him.
I am picking up my first pair of spectacles tomorrow, but surely to God Luiz came through the back of Alli and co. about 10 times?

Luiz and Kante got away with so many snidey fouls.

This ,on my count Kante made 5 bookable fouls and gets booked in injury time, Alonso made at least three bookable fouls and gets booked for throwing the ball away!, Luiz, as good as he was today again committed at least two bookable fouls, none given. Atkinson was a disgrace today, those bookings would have made a huge difference, the aforesaid players would not have been able to make the fouls they continued to do, hence giving us more space and the ability to keep pressure on.

Yes mistakes were made at the back, but I still say Moses dived before contact was made by Son, although stupid. Wanyama absence for the 4th goal allowed Matic the time to make that strike. IMHO we played against 12 men today and the bastard should be barred from reffing he was an absolute disgrace. I hope the boys recover mentally for the rest of the season and in Kevin Keegan's voice "I would absolutely Love it if we beat these bastards to the title.

It's Kante who got away with constant fouls. To finally get booked in stoppage time was a joke - I counted five fouls called against him before that.

IMVHO, the amount of talk this week before this game from Hugo and Toby was way unncessary.. Both did not perform to even a usual standard despite their confident speech beefing them up..

Hope Poch can sort this out next season from some media distraction.
I didn't pay too much attention to the media during the week but Toby and Lloris were not at it today.

If after 1-1 and 2-2, especially what a great equaliser scored from Dele for that, anyone was still feeling we would definitely lose the game, by all means shag the team.. I'm not..

The 2-2 draw at the bridge last season was nothing to be proud of, but not this game..

As I said, we are proud of losing...until we shake this mentality, we'll always be bridesmaids.

Was watching Manchester united - Anderlecht post match and I saw the disgust on Scholes face to even mention Europa league even though they're in the semis and obviously going to win it. You can't really coach a winning mentality.

Gonna get some flak for this but people saying they are proud of the team and that we played well are part of the problem.

As a club we accept defeat far too easily, the players come in to the game nervous and almost expect to concede every time we equalize.

We lost because we made unforcered errors in key areas of the pitch. Chelsea were far more professional and didn't really give up any easy chances, we had to do some exceptional things to score.

In the end fans of any other top four club would not come away from a semi final defeat where they had conceded 4 goals saying they were proud of the team.

Until we as a club demand better we will always be bridesmaids.

I get what you're saying here but I think you've got to take into account the direction of travel of this team, ie where they started from and how far they've come so far.

Forgive me for digressing, but this defeat reminds me of when Andy Murray lost the Wimbledon final to Federer the year before he finally won it. He was very emotional and said: 'I'm getting closer'. I genuinely think that's how it is with this team, we just lack that little bit of experience and squad options and that will come, especially if we add to the squad over the summer.

I don't think the team or the management staff will accept this defeat easily at all. If some fans do then maybe it's because they can see how much progress we've already made in a short space of time and that if we keep on improving then it will be very difficult to stop us, regardless of how much more money the likes of Chaski have to throw at players. COYMFS!!!

He is such an experienced keeper, one of the very best. It's just so baffling. It wasn't top corner so he should have saved it
I dont think he saw it until it was past the wall which is down to the set-up and he was too far right considering the wall was protecting that side.

He just has that little wobble in him for the biggest games, unfortunately. A mistake like that inside the first 5 minutes from your captain, your most experienced player, your spokesman. And isn't he the captain of France too?

Alonso's annoyed me more as they were late tackles so obvious rather than little niggly ones and then he dived too to add insult to injury and still didn't get booked.
