Hodgson has confirmed what we already knew - he doesn't give a toss about your form, it's all about who you play for.
He has assured Sterling and Delph that lack of playing time at City will not affect their place in the England squad.

Owl Face really needs to go. Of course the problem is that the FA will look at his record against minnows in qualifying as a sign of success, rather than the piss-poor performances in tournaments.

Sterling was a first team starter for England and one of our best players, not saying a lot I know, and Delph was a squad member.

I don't think they should be kicked out of the squad now.

If in training for England they are performing better than their rivals then I don't see the problem.

I have a bigger problem with players playing well for less fashionable clubs and not getting in then joining a top 6 club and getting in immediately. But that isn't the case for Sterling and Delph.

Mason and Kane in England squad, Walker isn't, which is fair, but FFS, how THE FUCK, is Rose not in it over Gibbs and Shaw.

Absolute joke.

He's only played once this season hasn't he? Possibly not fully match fit yet?

And Gibbs has played 7 minutes.
This season, not even in the last week

Ross Barkley is lucky to make the england squad after putting in one of the worst displays I have seen by an AM

Its a shame Cleverly got injured otherwise it would be great to see him in the squad

Gibbs has played 476mins in the premier league in the calendar year 2015

Gibbs has played for england 178 mins for england. Truly a joke he has been selected

Rose will face a tough decision if he does get called up by Jamaica

I look at international football in two ways.

It's either A: That annoying thing to interrupts the premiership & European football.
or B: That great thing that punctuates the end of the football season.

Just a shame there's no way of having the second without the first :(

and going into an international break on a loss is very annoying (tempted to say Spursy but only dicks say that)

We drew. We've only lost one so far.

Any chance Roy will give our Harry a rest instead of dragging him in to sit on the bench for 180 minutes?
Hoping he gives him a run out, let him bang in a couple of goals against San Marino to lift his confidence again and get back to the prem with a skip in his step and a smile on his face
