you are right, I'm an idiot, I literally looked at his injury history before I posted that and somehow missed it. That's a third hamstring injury in 2 years then.

It is, not because of how long he's going to be out for but more for the fact he seems to be suspect to hamstring injuries. Hopefully this is just bad luck as he hasn't been out due to a hamstring injury in his career prior to joining us.

I always reminisce about that 2016/17 team, the best team we've had in my lifetime, I hope Ange can build something as good or better.

Literally said the exact same thing when watching it live, it was very odd to watch.

    Premier League 2023/2024

Exactly, I wouldn’t be too surprised if anyone in that top 10 gets into the CL next year except maybe West Ham. There are some very competent teams in the bottom half as well (Wolves, Palace, Brentford), basically anyone not in that bottom 4. The Prem is so much stronger than any other league...

Honestly I started writing my opinion on this “beast” thing and quickly realised it would be fucking pointless and boring.

I hope so and I think you could definitely be right but people forget how good Jan was sometimes, I remember seeing him properly dominate games from CB even from an offensive perspective (Swansea in his first season comes to mind) and him being arguably the best player on the pitch from LB...

Come on, better? He might well be but you can’t declare that yet, Micky has played 9 times for us, Jan played for us over 300 times and for the vast majority of that he was excellent and is arguably our best CB in the premier league era alongside King and Toby. We had the best defence in the...

This guy is a G, he tried to get the crowd going multiple times today and always looks so intense (in a good way), he’s got those Lamela crazy eyes. Somehow we’ve got a really, really promising back 4 now.
