    The operative word from my post was towards. Nobody is saying Villa are dropping a 10m signing-on fee for a Championship winger, but 10m difference between Villa and Spurs could be the difference between a London lad all of a sudden developing a Brummy accent.

    Isn't this a contradiction? He was never going to be signed as a first-choice option whilst you still had Brazil's number 9 playing as your CF and arguably your best player (Son) drifting between wing forward and CF positions.
