    Didn’t Portsmouth win the FA Cup in 2008? 3 months after we won the League Cup? So at that point we had literally won the last available trophy in England. But we were already in a trophy drought at that point? I’m so confused.

    Funny. But I’d like Howard Webb to explain why that is a penalty and the Ashley Young handball earlier is not. I’ve no idea these days what is and isn’t handball but you can’t have 2 different decisions on the same day for almost identical instances.

    That was so transparent from Arsenal. Good on Bayern for trying to take advantage. Long overdue that EPL teams try to take advantage of situations like that. Southampton under Hassenhutl did it every game.

    I don’t expect City to be ‘perfect’ for the rest of the season, so it’s still very much alive for Arsenal. However if their players have a similar defeatist attitude as that shown by many of their fans after yesterday’s loss then they’ll drop more points before the end of the season.

    Can’t believe how quickly the Emirates is emptying. Loads of time to get one back and then who knows. As much as I hate this Arsenal team surely they’ve earned a bit of faith from their fans but the fair weather pricks were giving up before the injury time had even been announced.
