It's funny, because I'm a little split on this.
If he plays a full game, he empties the tank. I mean, he puts in more effort than just about anyone else on the pitch and covers a huge amount of ground. However, by the 80th minute he's shot, the lactic acid is kicking in, he's knackered and a bit...
I hear everything you’re saying…and I can understand some fans’ frustrations.
Patience….would be the word I would use here.
This project, this League is all new to Ange. It’s a step-up on all that’s gone before.
That doesn’t bother me at all, though. I’m not really into ‘experience‘ as a key...
If Richie had been playing, would Sonny have scored his goal?
Or would he have been out wider and Richie competing for the ball in the middle?
I only ask because Sonny’s breaks from midfield are such a potent weapon, that can’t be utilised when he’s out on the wing.
When he’s flat-out running...
The difference between Son approaching the goalkeeper and Timo is massive.
Sonny needs to take him aside and coach him.
That was a textbook finish.
Beautiful
I want Ange getting the team to attack from the half way line.
I'm sure many of us are getting frustrated by the tippy-tappy stuff around the opposition box.
It's static, hesitant, eye-of-the-needle football and more often comes without any shot or actual threat to their goal.
Nor does it...
I’m not too fussed about this season, purely because it’s pure development.
We surprised a lot of teams with our attacking intent in the 1st half of the season.
But there are some good coaches out there and they’ve started doing their homework. They’ve started seeing frailties in our gameplay...
I’m not sure why some people are ridiculing my post.
Probably just a lack of insight and awareness. Or complete ignorance.
From The Athletic article:
‘Clearly, this is not coincidental. Especially as, during his 2021-22 debut season as Celtic, Postecoglou’s squad were plagued by the same...
You can tell that’s he’s working so hard on and off the pitch.
Got to love his commitment to improvement.
He looks really refreshed and alive in training too.
Big heart ❤️ from the guy.
Chelsea trying to poach Brighton’s head of recruitment.
Desperate to steal other team’s infrastructure and creative ideas.
Desperate to catch-up.

What rubbish.
We play an incredibly dynamic and highly agile way of playing football.
Ange has alluded to this, in the first year he’s going to run everyone until they break a bit….and then by Year 2 the conditioning team can find the fragility in player’s physiological systems and help build...
Some fans are going to be irate, angry and start blaming players….or even Ange.
But for me, this game was rich in stuff we need to learn as a team to compete consistently at the top, for the long term.
All sorts of learnings.
Defensively, corners, protecting the goal keeper, attacking out...
You get the feeling that some of the more established players don’t have confidence in some of the newer/younger players….and hence there’s hesitation in our game.
Hesitation in our passes, threaded balls, runs etc.
We are still very much a work in progress and we keep bringing in new...
I feel sorry for Holberg. Man of the Match up until those two mishaps.
But he was shattered and it should have been him being subbed if others hadn’t been so poor tonight.
Ange is going to be earning his oats this half time.
We can be better than this.
We must be better than this. It’s almost like they’re waiting for a sign to be incisive.
Thread the balls through!
