Q: You’re facing exciting times in your career, but without a doubt, you also leave behind good memories in Tottenham…
A : Of course. I spent four incredible years there. I would like to thank everyone in the club, the people who helped me in London, in the Tottenham club, I want to thank the...
For those people who think Luka's move to RM is all about money, I'd like to provide a little bit different perspective.
At the beginning of his career, he wanted to play for Dinamo Zagreb, but he was famously loaned to Bosnian club, to tighten up, and later on he was loaned again to minor...
He can only play in 442 and I doubt that we'll be seeing much of 442 next year.
Any striker comming to Spurs has to answer with yes to at least one of the next two qustions:
- can you play as lone striker
- can you play as winger-striker
Defoe can't answer with yes to either of this questions.
... and they sold Saha, who couldn't play as single striker for Everton, to us, and bought themselves Jelavic for 5 mil who can. And is about 7 or 8 years younger then Saha. Pienaar was their best player since he returned. Why is he there? So, so many question marks over Harrys' judgements.
This. He was in Medjugorje, which is in part of Bosnia populated by Croats, so no wonder he was asked questions about Luka. He has to say something. This days if you say something for you ex-school papers somewhere, in some strange language, it gets into Daily Maily couple of hours later.
I remember last year Harry said how he won't lose any sleep if we don't finish fourth. At the time I tought it was very st... not very smart thing to say. One more loss and I expect something very similar from him this year. Who we are to finish above Chelesa, Arsenal and Liverpool blah, blah...
I alwasy like to read cultured opinions from our opponent's blogs. Here is very good tactical analysis from one of them:
http://www.thebusbybabe.com/2012/3/5/2845356/tactical-review-tottenham-hotspur-1-3-manchester-united-harry-redknapp-luka-modric-winger
Well, of course it's not only about tactics, it's about quality and attitude of players as well. For example, BAE's, Bale's and Ade's attitude was wrang from the start, they were far too relaxed, with wrong body language. But, it is alwasy about tactics as well, it is not as simple as wether to...
Interesting read from one of "their" blogs:
"Song’s deep starting position, allowed Sagna and Gibbs to play extremely high up the pitch – as out and out Wing Backs. Now, these high starting positions caused the first Tottenham goal with Gibbs caught high up the pitch. Commentators will...
He would sold Modric, re-signed him and sold again by now.
I really hope that someone who is responsible for success on the pitch and the way team play doesn't gain profit from selling players. 10 years ago when HR sold Crouch from Portsmouth, whose interests he had in mind?
