    Again, the one positive crumb of comfort I am still seeing throughout this run is that the desire is still ultimately there. It's hidden deep down, a bit shy maybe but ultimately it's still there. As long as that persists we can shake off the damp squib ending to the season and come back...

    We've had one summer window. Unfortunately some of the incomings so far are looking more to be backup/rotation players as opposed to starters going forward if the rebuild is to be completed fully over the full three years.

    It's obvious what's happened here. The players decided the season ended a few games back. The fans just weren't sent the memo. It's like a switch was flipped. Smash Villa and virtually fuck all since then.
