If that's the case he should study Kulusevski. Not pacy by any standards, but super intelligent use of change of speed, speeding up and slowing down to keep the defender guessing.

Just seen both Onomah and Luke Amos are without a club. Shame, had high hopes for both when they were coming through

I think the Chelsea thing was more they were going to sign him, but we let them know we would cause an almighty stink if they did so, arguing tapping up etc. so they backed off

Woah, what happened there??? Had such high hopes for him, and didn't he leave because he thought he was too good to languish in the youth team any longer?

Agreed, Rose was always deemed the better of the two going forward, however in recent seasons in terms of end product Davies consistently produced higher numbers I think? Crosses/passes completed and assists?

Not only that, it could very well have been an either/or scenario regarding Bergwijn. You have a choice, you can spend €30m on 22 year old highly rated Bergwijn, OR commit that money to a stopgap / mid rate striker. I know which I'd choose, planning for the long term.

I mean this is great news, such a clear shift in policy under Mourinho. According to Hercules he essentially wants everyone over 18 out on loan, as feels players and club have suffered due to stifling development. I'm sure a few of us have posted similar once or twice in this thread.... Only...

Again, in the last 7 months we have signed Ndombele, Lo Celso, Bergwijn, Sessegnon, Fernandes loan fee...I'm not sure how much cash people think the club has just laying around. The stadium has effected our transfers, in that it has let us spend club record fees on highly promising players that...

As you say, the covenants will be in relation to finance, not a bar on loans, it's all about recording the debt (or not) on the books. Considering the level of debt the club has in relation to the stadium, the amount of cash in bank/liquid assets will undoubtedly need to be maintained at a...

Sorry if I've ruined your day, just thought some people might like a little insight as to why we might not be able to do a deal financially, even though we have had a massive increase in revenue. Like all of us I wanted to see us bring in a striker, however I can understand why we might be a...

So Ndombele, Lo Celso, Bergwijn, Sessegnon, Fernandes etc. were all free were they? It seems people don't realise we've already spent c. £160m this year
