    Regardless of the outcome you cannot expect Bale's absence to go unpunished, more about principal than anything else. At the moment he is paid by Spurs to train and play football matches along with the rest of the team, why should he be treated differently to anyone else?

    I really connot believe RM would be that stupid to erect a stage and sell shirts if a fee and payment structure had not been agreed, I even read somewhere that they had sold 50000 tickets for his unveiling. Maybe Levy really has moved the goalposts...
