    If you meant last season then Southampton were on the same points and goal difference as us at this stage (18 played, 32pts, +17gd). Oddly with the same number of goals for and against, but they had thrashed Sunderland 8-0.

    2011/12 Seems to be the exception. Chelsea had a goal difference of +13 on the 1st of January which put them forth highest although 5th in the league. They finished 6th with a GD of +19 (5th highest). Seems to work out every other time (I stopped looking at 10/11 so I can pretend I have a life).

    What are the facility fees? I assume that it's the cost of hosting the broadcaster, in which case we would have made more than Liverpool. The TV revenue is the same and we received a higher merit payment.

    If Soldado's confidence wasn’t shot to shit the keeper would think he is going to shoot (he probably would). His mental state is fucked, so the keeper knows he is going to pass, fakes left and goes right. Honestly I love Soldado but his Spurs career is fucked.

    Ref is abysmal. We should be one up but the goal was saved because Bobby has no confidence, the keeper knew he would pass. We have played well, Soldado may yet score but his PL career and probably his top league career is done IMO. (top half team, not top League)

    Other then a goal it was a satisfying half. The officiating seemed to become more balanced as the game wore on, we had the best chances and controlled the tempo. Still absolutely shitting myself though... supporting Spurs is like being a domestic abuser, I love you but still want to beat you...
