Can't speak for everyone but I really don't like celebrating disallowed goals, a situation easily avoided in a pre-VAR world with a quick glance over to the lino and/or ref. Sadly VAR isn't instant like a ref's whistle or a linesman's flag and it is starting to affect my enjoyment of goals...
Fair enough, I imagine that is the main criteria for most people. The adult home shirt is £5 more on the club website than through Sports Direct, although avoiding Sports Direct is certainly no bad thing for reasons that are well-documented.
Yesterday I noticed a number of people buying the new shirts in Sports Direct on the High Road rather than from the Spurs shop less than a 5 minute walk away. Personally, I always try to buy directly from the club but perhaps others don't feel the same. Where does everyone stand on that?
Agree. Defenders hold their line (ie stop), flag goes up, play continues. Very odd indeed.
Also, knowing every goal is checked by VAR is going to take away the spontaneity and fun of a goalscoring moment.
Just back from the ticket office. Barely a queue at all, although I was there around 5pm. Today wasn't my actual slot but they didn't mind.

If it's for trouble makers they already know, then why do they need my details? I guess they are trying to gauge where to deploy police and stewards in the city but it doesn't sit right with me. Also, there will be so many people travelling without tickets I'm not sure how much intelligence this...
