So, my mate is a huge Bournemouth fan, he loves Cook, raves about his passing, haven't really watched too much of him but do know he wants the ball all the time and wants to move forward with it, him and Winks could be our midfield for years. both graft for the team.
the way deals are done though is that we talk via agents as well as clubs, so our offer to Zaha might have been more lucrative but our offer to Palace might have been well below the mark, i think we tried to convince him to come and see if he'd go to the club saying 'spurs only please' i imagine...
thanks trix, this grealish stuff reignited in a few places yesterday, not sure if he's the right fit but in poch we trust.
Bit gutted about zaha but imagine we are reasonably well stocked in attacking midfield.
as dunc says above, we have put tonnes of thought into it, the material used in the panels on the roof were even designed to reverberate the sound back to last longer and clearer, the angles of everything inside, all materials. this stadium will be immense in soo many ways.
seems like the general consensus from itk's is that we need to sell first and levy is getting levy'd by the window closing early, but on the other hand we hear we will spend, i think we will probably have to take a bit of a hit on Sissoko, Llorent and Janssen, if thats the case and we need to...
As i see it, MD and TA are away after the world cup, when back in the uk in about a week they'll probably be meeting their agents and seeing where they are heading off to, no one wants Sissoko but i imagine he might be pushed into a deal away if possible, Zaha is too much money imo, Grealish...
also the long term deal is stopping whats happening with toby happening again. and good to hear there's more news incoming, can't see toby leaving this week anyway tbh as he's just flown to somewhere in greece.
need to get our left back spot filled for a few years seeing as Rose and Toby seem to be off.
I think we'll be seeing a good few contracts being signed this next few weeks, Poch, Eriksen, Jan, Alli, we also need to be looking at a back up keeper.
not for me, really don't think he's as good as his goal tally suggests, if we got him he wouldn't start and we aren't at the level imo to spend 40mil plus on a bench warming 17 year old when Moura isn't even fully settled, no way RS starts over any of our midfield and don't think he's that good...
didn't he declare he was staying this morning? pretty certain i saw comments from a palace website with quotes from him saying he feels at home and has no plans to leave his 'home' it's on the evening standard website.
i'm the same Andy, and i asked what was involved in the test pile, they drill, take test samples away, they then drill out, insert a pile, this pile is done in an area where no piles will ever be they then exert a load on top of it and test it to destruction.
i tagged edmonton in the post too...
considering the club pay his wages they can ask him to what they want, so Roy, our actions have feck all to do with you, how about you don't make him play two meaningless friendlies?
think this is just another glaring error that will be used in the need for a eye in the sky ref for decisions, taking the decisions out of the hands of inept officials.
