I think both sets of fans are in a competition with each other for being the biggest pussies in the leagueTrue but even Pool don't go in for this kind of thing and that's one hell of an overemotional fanbase.
What is dislikable about Ashley Cole, apart from the ill advised book he seemed like a quite bloke who kept his head down and didn’t speak to the media IMOMore dislikable than previous Arsenal teams with the likes of Judas, Vieira and Keown? Or Chelsea teams with John Terry and Ashley Cole, with Mourinho in charge? Not even close IMO.
He played for both Arsenal and Chelsea..? And the perception was that he felt insulted by Arsenal’s generous (to the man on the street, at least) contract offer so went to Chelsea for money. What is dislikable about Ashley Cole, apart from the ill advised book he seemed like a quite bloke who kept his head down and didn’t speak to the media IMO
It occurred to me they did that on the same day as the England squad announcement after his England debacle. Coincidence? Unlikely.
Also that was insane for a contract extension. For someone leaving sure, but staying? Cringefest.
There’s an Athletic article about it today if anyone who is more tech savvy than me can post it.Would love to know what really happened with him and England. Just weird...
Sounds like he just has an ego that couldn't take not playing, or took a verbal blasting for caring more about fake tan than the team.Would love to know what really happened with him and England. Just weird...
People keep repeating this but I’ve not seen the quotesHasn’t he said previously that he doesn’t actually like football and does it purely for the money/career? Makes sense that he wouldn’t be overly bothered about England if so.
