United playing like Palace yesterday.

It’s what Utd are nowadays. They sit deep, hit it long to Rashford and Garnacho.

Ten Hag tried to build more progressively at the beginning of this season and they were rubbish. Now he’s switched back and it tends to work well in games like this. Particularly when your opposition is blazing over tap-ins.

Not even sure it's his worst half tbh, does this a lot. He offers very little other than finishing chances.
Agree. He’s nowhere near as complete a player as the other top number 9s of the last decade (Kane, Lewandowski, Benzema).

It’s what makes a player like Rashford so infuriating, he can do things like that but then he’ll go missing for the next four games and just live off highlights of that strike

635 quid I win if City win.

Edgy lol
How are the nerves holding out? must be screaming at Haaland for some of those misses

Haaland is a goal scorer. He isn't someone who will constantly drop deep to link up and create. His one job is to be in the box to finish off the chances.

His league goalscoring rate in the Bundesliga and Prem in the last 5 seasons is consistently just under a goal a game. I think his managers are perfectly happy with his contribution.

doku looks so out of place in this city side.

he got a goal and 4 assists in a game against bournemouth but in the other 17 he has 1g 1a.

Probably end up a draw.

He's been very poor today. Every move that comes to him breaks down pretty sharpish.

Surprising that Pep persists with him.

Not at all relevant to what I’ve said but ok. Yes he’s usually lethal in the 18 yard box. Outside that he offers very little.

Wrexham are delighted with Paul Mullin and Leicester wouldn’t have won the league without Vardy, but that doesn’t make either of them a more complete player than Kane, Lewandowski or Benzema.
