Never mind the formation or the tactics, the most important question as far as I am concerned is who is going to kick Richarlison up in the air now that Johno isn't around?

Willy Boly looks like he would enjoy a good scrap, so my money is on „Big Willy“ to boot the ponce over the advertising hoardings with an early „reducer“.
richarlison is the mardiest player in the premier league since le sulk nicolas anelka.
An early doors welcome to the city ground is compulsory and I don't care who does it

I've got nothing against jonners but that's the first time I've ever seen his smile look fake.
Whenever he has celebrated with the Tot players he doesn't seem to have the same energy with the way he did for us

I'm afraid I think we lose. Brennan is bound to hurt us and then there is Richarlison - I hate that guy so he's obviously going to score.

Ale ape.

Spurs strike me as the kind of side who are technically very good, but inconsistent with their effort.
I’m hoping they come in thinking they can stroll over us without any effort.

Johnson scores, brings out the bow and arrow celebration. 5 minutes later Yatesey puts him in row Z and gets away with a booking.
Final score: Forest 5 - Spuds 1. Richarlison sent off for a late tackle on Boly which results in Richarlison being stretchered off with cruciate injury. Revenge for 91 complete.

'Cause the righteous truth is there ain't nothing worse than some fool lying on some third-world beach in spandex psychedelic trousers smoking damn dope and pretending he getting consciousness expansion. I want consciousness expansion, I go to my local tabernacle and I sing!

It does seem as soon as they get near the top they start with the billy bog bollocks stuff.
It's funny isn't it.......Spurs were top and everyone was banging on about "could we win the league?".....well, everyone except the actual Spurs fans who were just happy to be in the top half! However, the fans of other teams seem to have been traumatised by the media narrative from them and trying to belittle us for what some crappy pundit said on Sky Sports.

The exact opposite with villa and their deluded fans, where they can't stop banging on about how good they are.....I still can't believe we lost to them!

Once again it's not about like for like comparison it's how key they are and what they mean for their side. They're key players missing long term just like Maddison and VDV for us.

Mings won’t get back in the team when he returns from injury. Buendia was a big loss, but they had a good transfer window and signed decent alternatives.

Favourite Villa quote.

Tottenham stadium atmosphere is nothing compared to Villa Park?

obviously just started going this season.

This narrative other clubs fans have that we thought we were going to win the league, back when we were top a few weeks ago - I never saw a single Spurs fan on here claiming that (correct me if I'm wrong) and, yeah, I always hope we're going to win the league right up until the day it's mathematically impossible, but it seems odd to project that onto other fans. Maybe they work with bellends, I know every team has them, listen to talk sport phone-ins and it really tests your faith in our fans.

Meanwhile, Villa over here, have a terrific manager who's doing an incredible job with his squad and suddenly their fans are flopping their willies about - I like Villa fans generally but a few wins has turned a chunk of their fanbase a bit strange. I'm half expecting them to claim they have better quality plastic pint glasses and the chicken shop nearby is better than Chick King, so much self-elevation.

"UK Fried Chicken" appears to be the nearest to Villa Park but never judge a chicken shop by the exterior - if anyone has tried their wings then pipe up, I'm interested but confident Chick King is still top tier.

When did villa become so deluded??
Believe me, Villa fans have always been this deluded. They won a bunch a bunch trophies in the 1800s so they're still an absolutely massive club. They are only a notch below pre-Klopp Liverpool fans in that regard. They piped down for a few years recently due to their relegation but now, after one decent season, they're back up to full voice again.

Sorry to go on about the chicken shop debate... that wasn't a debate, which I just kind of created out of nowhere... yeah, anyway - just been looking at the official North London church of chicken that is Chick King on street view and scooted the timeline back to July 2008;

Villa fans of suddenly come out of no where over the past year.

The deludism is strong.

Villa have suddenly come out of nowhere over the past year too. Now their fans are strutting about. Can't wait for the return game when we should hopefully be back to full strength.

Unless you like your chicken cooked with a blowtorch in a shopping trolley I would stick to the food in and around the ground if I were you.

Man

Many of us in here were deluded too after 8 games. Football fans same everywhere. Lets not kid ourselves.

Bullshit. Theyre not the same everywhere.

Nobody was saying we were going to win the league after our start.

We were incredibly unlucky with injuries/suspensions happening all at once and the irony is we'd still be top most likely without all that bad luck at once.

Villa are a different case all together...one half decent season and a good start to this one and theyre acting like theyve been contenders for years.

GTF with that shit lol.

Sorry - there may have been some banter, but I don't recall any Spurs fan talking about winning anything (though the pundits couldn't help themselves throwing the notion out there).........every Spurs fan I know was like Charlie!

Fuck me, Villa fans are actually the worst.

I hope we fucking smash them at their precious Villa Park.

Indeed, most of us on here have acknowledged what a great job Emery has done since Gerrard, yet they seemingly can't seem to find any positives in how Ange has turned us around.
It's fucking mad and blinkered.
