little money? Back to horse trading? Jota off to Newcastle.

I see the doom has begun before January doldrums have had a chance to settle in.

Seems we are the poorest richest team in the world.

I’ve seen a fair bit, but probably not enough… but for those who may have seen more - Morgan Gibbs-White, is he the sort of level of player who would be good enough to play with, or in place of Maddison?

Is he good enough to justify the high price Forest are likely to ask for him? And is he good enough to actually come here and be an important player for us?

(I also like the very little I’ve seen of Murillo in the few Forest games I’ve seen this season but it is literally a handful of games so he may actually be terrible - however he’s just gone down injured and so is likely perfect for us).

Murillo has looked good each time I’ve seen him & Forest fans I know have already elevated him to cult status.

Whenever I’ve watched him he’s looked strong and capable on the ball, he’s come from Corinthians so has played in a tough league as well. As I say though, small sample size that I’ve actually seen, and I don’t recall seeing him in a proper foot race to look at his pace.

Last match I’m pretty sure he caught up with and dispossessed Joao Pedro in the box. Good level of aggression in him otherwise also. Really impressive start to life in the PL I think.

Hope Koleosho is on our radar, only 19 and is excellent in 1v1 situations. He’s really stood out whenever I’ve watched Burnley this season

For me, Gibbs white is a decent player but not good enough for the 70mill or whatever they'd want for him. He's direct and got decent pace and decent technique but doesn't look a world beater to me.

He is very quick. Not Mbappe quick but still quick.

I scouted him a lot in Sub20 Paulista and then Serie A and he has everything.

Power, speed, aggression, ball carrying, cross field passes and defensive positioning.

As always. We need to improve the squad and early in the window, trouble is, more deals pop up later on. But we can’t afford to do that this month.

Wasn’t sure where to put this so I’ve chucked it in here and will also chuck it in the RO:

PROF on COYS.

As much effort will to be made in moving players out as bringing new ones in, although whether moving players on is a feasible goal remains to be seen. Of course, outgoings are not as exciting as incomings, however we have a plan for the summer window which, to be viable (from a squad size perspective), requires a non-trivial number of outgoings.

Ange's January 'In' list is relatively short and contains players for positions that any Spurs fan would predict (eg CB). A couple of the targets seem (to me) to be unlikely for the January window - more likely/less unlikely in the summer; one or two others are feasible. Biggest debate within the THFC brains trust at the moment is whether there's a need to bring in another ACM in January.

The thought of a brains trust does does fill me with confidence regardless of positions needed

As long as the brains trust isn’t just the board like it has been in the past.
That’s the worry, we heard gabbiadini Rocked the boat when everything was going well on the signing front. Supposition here granted but if they felt they know better than the people they employ then we’re back to square one regardless of any manager. I hope I’m wrong
