Gruda vs Bayern . I dont know if it will make his highlights youtube real... 54th minute coming back from his defense, taking the ball, he did some insane dribble and fooled Davies & another Bayern player so easily....

This lad is some player. Sometimes you only need to watch a player once. Gruda is a star in making.
I would throw 15-20m now and get him in

Perr Schuurs was stretchered off in Torino's game v Inter with what looks like a knee ligament injury... He was on the shortlist I think.

Wouldn't mind us to go for Hamer as a rotational option for Maddison next season (when we are hopefully in Europe). He was great for Coventry last season, getting double figures in both goals and assists.

Signed for soon to be relegated Sheffield United this summer, scored against us and also scored a great goal against Forest.

Born in Brazil but is a Dutch national. Set piece specialist and very creative from midfield.

Watched Nico Williiams for Athletic against Barca. He was just back from injury, but wasn’t super impressive. Is big and quick, but was poor in one-on-ones and a bit wasteful with the ball.

Don't think so. Very difficult to pull Basque players away from Athletic Bilbao due to the unique relationship they have with the region and their fans
Historic rivalry too - although that doesn’t seem to mean much anywhere anymore.

You have to really respect the way Bilbao have implemented their Basque player policy and remained relatively competitive and in the top division for so long. It’d be like Swansea of Cardiff only using Welsh players while maintaining mid table premier league status.

Agreed. My wife's family is from Madrid, but I would say Bilbao is my La Liga side. Incredible really, given that they are probably around the 6th best side in the league consistently with their policies.

Anyone seen much of Nicolás González? Seems be a very direct winger and could be a good option out wide in an Ange system.

We were linked two years ago when he was at Stuttgart. Bought in Bryan Gil that same window so I guess that’s why we never moved for him?

Archie Gray, Leeds' 17 year old midfielder, 2025 contract. He made his debut this season and has started 10/12 league games total, was on the bench for them at 15, made his PL2 debut (U23s) at 15 and looks to be a regular for England youth teams. He's another one of those proper all action, well ronded modern midfielders that can do a bit of everything - confident in picking up the ball, carrying it, good passing, high work rate, good defensively, contributes well in the build up, bit of skill and can take players on etc. They're very excited about this kid

Also has a younger brother Harry who they're very excited about, he's a 14 or 15y/o forward and doing very well, seen some say he's even more talented than Archie

Finally Finlay Gorman who's a 15 y/o forward/winger and tearing it up for Leeds' youth. Lots of interest around him too

Anyone seen much of Nicolás González? Seems be a very direct winger and could be a good option out wide in an Ange system.

He's Fiorentina's best player but he signed a new contract about a month ago until 2028. If he didn't sign a new contract he would definitely be one to look at

I’d rather we went for Lloyd Kelly, good cb who can play lb too, HG, knows the league and ready to fit in straight away.
