I read somewhere (probably twitter) someone asking if this is what he does on the most public of stages, what does he do when he thinks no one is watching which I thought was a fair point!I just can’t t believe this idiot believes it’s okay for him to thrust his crotch about in celebration then kiss one of the women smack in the lips without her permission!
Should have been sacked straight away!
I hope you feel it's changing as dinosaur's, like we saw putting you in ignore, are becoming less the norm. It’s really tiring being a woman who is also a football fan sometimes.
Honestly it feels like it’s getting worse. Women’s sports usually isn’t the issue and there is an escape from some of the toxicity (idiots like the one who put me on ignore don’t bother me) but it’s not that which is so tiring. There are so many incidents with players being involved in domestic abuse/SA allegations etc who seemingly get away with it (understand some go to court and are found not guilty but when you know how the legal system works against the victim in these cases, it’s hard to be ok with it. Also not guilty is not the same as innocent) and carry on in a team as normal and the support they get some other players but then this incident in the women’s World Cup final happens, on film no less, and it’s almost radio silence from players.I hope you feel it's changing as dinosaur's, like we saw putting you in ignore, are becoming less the norm.
Women's sport is on the up and despite out of date thinking it's attracting a whole new set of fans to sport whilst also converting others.
Would love the Spanish men’s team to come out and say they won’t play until this is sorted or similar.Honestly it feels like it’s getting worse. Sorry, but of a rant but like I said, it’s tiring.
One has so far, hope the rest follow suit quickly.Would love the Spanish men’s team to come out and say they won’t play until this is sorted or similar.
Easy for me to say, but the lack of allies who actually have power is disappointing (obviously not only in sport).
Just the lack of allies in general sometimes it seems. Particularly those who don’t start it with “If it was my daughter..”. I would hope that men can see a woman being treated in these ways and not only care because they wouldn’t like it if it happened to someone they love.Would love the Spanish men’s team to come out and say they won’t play until this is sorted or similar.

Infantino is a classic for this sort of nonsense. “I’ve got 3 daughters” or whatever. Then pull your fucking finger out mate!!!!!!Just the lack of allies in general sometimes it seems. Absolute joke should of been told right away, could of even motivated her even more to do it for her father, thats shameless on the family's part imo
You’d hope he quits, his performance today is the usual bravado someone who has fucked up so badly comes out with then next day they’re advised they really can’t carry on in the role.
Sends a terrible message out otherwise and has already overshadowed why should have been an incredibly happy moment for the Spanish women’s team.
There are just too many dinosaurs still in top jobs within football.
Another thing I’m not completely sure about, didn't the reports say both the men and woman’s national team managers were at his speech cheering him ?
There's a systemic problem, linked to how football associations are set up I think. Football associations are not public entities, although many folks think they are because their main teams are national teams. Men and women play for their countries, but the FA is not a government entity. So the guys in high positions at FAs around the world can act like assholes often and circle the wagons to protect their positions. Theres no freedom of info act covering them. And they are self regulated. Why are there so many fucking sleazy idiots in high up football positions…
If you knew TCO you'd know he isn't an idiot (well, his missus might say otherwise) but actually one of the best blokes you'll find on here, and supportive of football regardless of who plays it.Honestly it feels like it’s getting worse.
