Maddison is main reason we are playing and attacking so well again. Not just because he's excellent, but also because we haven't had a proper creative hook/playmaker linking midfield and attack since Eriksen left.

Who knew? All you needed was to add a third midfielder instead of defender, and give them freedom between the lines.
Mind blowing isn't it? 😂

Maddison is way better in the tackle as well.

He definitely will have swelling/tightness if he is on crutches. Precautionary to help keep the weight off and will probably be going through the RICE Rest, Ice , compression and elevation until they can fully check it out.
Hopefully not too serious and just a minor sprain 🤞
Things have moved on from RICE now

And there's me with images of Maddison with his foot in a bowl of Uncle Bens

Him and Bis both being so press resistant is so important and means we can actually play out of trouble and get on the front foot. Then his vision to not only move up the field, but also pick a pass. The future is bright when the rest of the team really start to gel.

Like the days of Moose and Eriksen.

He’s outstanding.

I find it totally insane that in a market where Paqueta is being talked about for 85m, and Lavia went for 60, that no one went for him.

He could get in any side in the league IMO, possibly even City now KDB is injured. Bizarre
It's even more bizarre, when I watched the Leicester vs Man City game the season before last he was the best player on the pitch.

He's been so good and consistent in an absolutely terrible Leicester side, why anyone would go for Mount (out of form for over a year) or Eriksen (wages and signing on fee probably works out the same as Maddison) or Paqueta (looked ok and double the price), the list goes on.

Like Bissouma last season this is a spectacular deal and a no brainer.

I'm sure we'll do the same with Eze next season as well.

Bentancur, Bissouma, Maddison, Kulusevski and Sarr for the price of Caicedo. Ridiculously good transfer business after years of horror signings.

People complain about our team forgetting we had a Sissoko Winks axis only a few years ago.

Absolutely buzzing. Ange's setup has taken us from zero midfield to super sexy midfield. Can't imagine how dangerous we'd be if Kane hadn't fucked off to the sausage League.
