He is certainly in the reckoning, in the top 5Great certainly.
Greatest ever?
Certainly not.

Yeah, I was the same and wish I hadn’t watched itI’ve been pretty content with Harry leaving, and kind of relieved the saga is going to an end. But man, this hits me right in the feels.
Amazing player, he will be missed.
has crackers gone crackers? Or could this be true?
He's one of the Tottenham greats for me.Just to echo, thanks for the goals, the brilliance, and the commitment, Harry.
That said, this thread, much like Kane himself, are dead to me now.
COYS!!!!!!
I'm not even needing to click that link!Maybe give the football a miss this weekend and stick on a movie instead?
Very very sad man. Made worse that it’s due to the failings of the clubwow, that hits hard man! Never again will we EVER have someone of his raw goal scoring ability, let alone link up play, passing vision etc etc come through the ranks m, truly one in a million. One of the best players I’ve ever seen in my
Lifetime! For me better than Bale.
All is not what you think... for once.I'm not even needing to click that link!
Ok, I take it back. I was sure it was a fucking Hitman link!Maybe give the football a miss this weekend and stick on a movie instead?

I'm having a son I October. My daughter is named Harriet after him.
She is sleeping in the garden tonight.
Lots of talk about Neymar going to Barca now ether on ether a free or a loan. Apparently he’s already agreed a contract. This means that Fati is very likely to leave and that they won’t get Felix. Atleti are open to loaning Felix again but supposedly still looking for an €80 mil fee which we obviously won’t pay. Most likely he goes to a Saudi club now I bet. But as per ITK I Fati will certainly be pushed in our direction now if it’s true we are interested.Go and get joao Felix

I guess I could call him Son?
Nah fuck him if he wants to piss off to another school just to get some easy sports day records then he's dead to me. Should have stayed here and been a one school man and had his name on the prefects wall. It'll be like going back to school after the summer holidays only to find out that your best mate and his family had moved to some other part of the world....
You never forget him but you'll make other friends.
Bristol Rovers was also my moment ,although it would be years before I got to the Lane ,remember the highlights Colin Lees 4 goals and a certain Glenn Hoddle .I Just want a bit of that feeling back and Ange will deliverBeen watching and loving this site for over 15 years, but never felt the need to post. But with today’s events, and the associated negativity, I felt the need to find a half full glass. I’ve supported this amazing club since 1978 when my dad took me to WHL for my first game to see us beat Bristol Rovers 9 nil in the old 2nd division. Despite the extraordinary start, I have been a true Spurs fan and have suffered and enjoyed everything since in equal measures. As others have said, we’ll survive Harry’s exit, like we have survived departures in the past, but I also think there may be some positives too. I am sure I’ll be proved wrong with this, and this message will haunt me at various points during the season, but here goes anyway:
- barring some kind of bizarre development, at least Harry will now not end up at another Premier League club in 2024. For me that would have been too painful, and too much of a risk to keep him for another year and hope he extends
- whatever people might think about Levy, I think he did what he thinks is right here. £100M+ for a 30 year old with one year left is crazy money, and money we need, particularly if a big chunk is up front. History tells us that we’ll be disappointed with the transfer activity in the next few weeks, but at least we have a chip on the table and some buying power
- perhaps stretching credibility a little, but I do wonder if Kane would have been completely suited to our new style. The 4 goals against Shaktar might make that comment a nonsense, but in Richy and Sonny, we do have players who can fit the style more obviously. Plus surely we’ll bring in someone else who also fits the bill
- Harry’s exit must also now give Ange a bit of a free hit and take some pressure off him, as expectations can never have been lower for next season. If the idiot Merson is anything to go by, we’ll be predicted to be mid table, and anything better than that will be progress. People already have huge sympathy for him, and he might get more time from the hatchet mobs at Fleet Street, particularly if he continues the brilliant press conferences
- the last time we truly got excited about our team was when the likes of Harry, Dele, Eriksen and Son were relatively unknown and there were no true ‘stars’ in our team. We have that young exciting team again, with no egos and no dinosaur manager holding back the enthusiasm
- we have no European football to distract us, and a rested squad, so we have time for the players to adapt to the boss’s plans. It’s a tough start to the campaign, but that may help us too, as the pressure may be off a little
- I just have a feeling this could be the making of Sonny, particularly if he’s made captain. He has often stepped up in the past when Harry was injured, and looked even more confident. This could be his chance to be our main man and return to the heights of the season before last
So, blind optimism at its best, but that’s always been my approach to Spurs. I’d rather be optimistic and disappointed than be pessimistic and proved right! COYS
