Another underwhelming link to a youngster. No thanks.

You sound like our previous coaches who only want established stars. We have a different coach who has confidence in his ability to coach.

Not at all. It’s good to sign some youngsters, but this guy is a busted flush. He’d just end up as more dead wood.

Fati does seem a very Ange style winger. Injuries would be a worry, but was way overplayed when he broke through for Barca, and as depth injuries aren't as much as a risk for now

odegaard comes to mind every transfer is a risk
I don’t think that’s a great comparison. Odegaard had gone out and impressed on loan at both Socieadad and Arsenal. He left because Madrid didn’t have a place in the side for him and he wanted first team football. Fati just hasn’t progressed. His development has been stagnated by injuries. People will get excited because he was a wonder kid on football manager and fifa, but if he was any good they wouldn’t be selling him.

Like I said, if this is how we are spending the Kane money, it’s very underwhelming.

He’ll have none imo. As Ghost Hardware said, he had loads of potential but he’s suffered a lot of injuries and hasn’t progressed as Barca would have hoped. There’s a reason they want rid.
Agree 100%. I do feel sorry for the kid, pre injury he looked to have the world at his feet. I mean Barca gave him the no 10 shirt after Messi left, he was that highly rated but injuries have totally stunted him. It would be a massive massive gamble, if he manages to get back to the player he was before the injuries we’d have a world class player in a few years but honestly watching him post injury he just doesn’t look the same physically or mentally. There’s an incredibly low chance of success with him imo and I think the pl could eat him up.

If it was a loan with an option, I could understand to an extent. But if we are selling Kane we should be getting genuine quality in to soften the blow. Not gambling it on injury prone kids who haven’t reached their potential.
