Was he quoted? I don't remember him saying anything recently about his contract situation.Harry was quoted as saying that he would only sign if there was 'progress' on the pitch.
It's really not these daysit's such a difficult gamble to be fair, 100m is a loooot of money
would take a lot of balls to do it
Have to consider the availability factor with Richarlison. As a midfielder it is a big win if he kicks on. I went with Maddison insteadSo do I keep Richy in my fantasy team or not? Come on Levy the stakes here are bigger than your brinkmanship
Take the gamble Levy.
Fairly obvious that he wants a bit of substance and evidence that we're going in the right direction under Postecoglou. Can't really tell that from a few pre-season matches. I think we're going to have to have some start to the season for him to re-consider, as by January RM and Barcelona will be telling him he's only 6 months away from them.Question is what exactly does he want. Does he really want to go to BM.
Black ones, with studs, and laces. What boots was he wearing yesterday ? Is it the start of the Skechers era?
Fair point, maybe I should have said that he was reported to have said !Was he quoted? I don't remember him saying anything recently about his contract situation.
I don't think he does TBH.Question is what exactly does he want. Does he really want to go to BM.
Problem is who's gonna be open to him next summet, United spent a fortune on Hojlund, City got Haaland, Liverpool maybe just don't see that if they have another bad season, won't go Chelsea or Arsenal, Madrid will get Mbappe next summer but possibly could get both, PSG are signing Ramos from Benfica, only really leaves Bayern or Barca, Barca can't afford him with there issues. If Bayern don't get Kane now they'll sign a new striker elsewhere so depends on who they sign gets on this season. I'm not an optimistic fan but that's how I see it next summer, I don't think he'll get the offers from where he thinks he will next season. The reason to sell Kane to Bayern isn't really about the money IMO.
It's about getting him to leave the league and not having to face him for the next 4/5 years.
That's why if I was Levy and we got a bid of over £100m I would reluctantly sell.
And getting the £100m is more to show that we won't be bullied by anyone, like Bayern have tried to bully us.
Except there's nothing to prove he even said that and it seems a pointless deadline to give anyway (so then again it maybe something an unskilled agent might think sounds good when he's briefing the press?). Why would the fact he might play against Brentford stop him going to BM on Monday if a deal is agreed? It's not like it's a cup-tied situation. So the next deadline to pass is the one that Kane set where he said he wouldn't leave this summer if he was still here for the first game?
We need a count down timer for that.

Jamie Redknapp commented "Boots" on Kane's insta postWhat boots was he wearing yesterday ? Is it the start of the Skechers era?
It's more the change in the style of play rather than the result. Rather than the boring, defensive sitting back and just playing counter-attacking all the time we were trying to play positive, attacking football that, hopefully, might make him think again!Yeah I don't think a pre-season friendly against a team that's lost it's best players to war is going to make me rush to commit my remaining peak years to a club that continuously doesn't push the boat out to yield footballing success.
With respect, the idea that our decision on whether to keep a player should be based on having to play him twice a year in future is utterly bonkersThe reason to sell Kane to Bayern isn't really about the money IMO.
