I reckon Levy will sit there silent again. After getting breakfast out of them last time he’s aiming for a three course lunch on Bayern this time.

I’ve seen them come, I’ve seen them go. I was first aware of Harry around 2011 so I would have been about 45 and so into my 40-odd year as a Spurs fan. I loved the lad, I loved the man. Loved the England captain, loved the all-time record breaker. Tottenham were more than 80 years old when I was born. Tottenham are still here and I’m still here. What’s my point? Fuck knows but I’m a Spurs fan for life but a Harry Kane fan while he plays for us, and I’ll follow his career with a passing interest - no more than that. Good luck to the lad and thanks for everything.

It’s completely unacceptable for us to lose Kane for even a cent less than West Ham got for Rice.

I respect everyone has different feelings about this, but I’m not willing to settle for less than £105 million + add ons. Anything less is an insult.
Declan turned 24 this year and Harry will be 30. One arguably will get better and the other won't

I think people thinking selling Kane pays for 3-5 very good players are in for a shock.

I think the money Kane brings in either buys you one Muani type player. Or two CB’s like VDV and Tapsoba. You aren’t getting all of those though.

I’m not saying those players are likely, but I don’t think you get anywhere near getting two CB’s and a striker of the required quality for the money Kane would bring in.

No but you do get it for the money Kane brings in PLUS what should be left in our summer transfer budget regardless of the Kane situation.

We’ve spent £50m so far. Arsenal have spent £200m. We should be spending a lot more already this window regardless of the Kane income.

I’m just gonna refuse to think about it or consume any media about it and just delude myself that he’s just out with a knock every weekend rather than out in Germany.

Re the add ons:
Bayern are unlikely to agree to a large add on for winning the league because obvs
Levy is unlikely to agree to fee on basis of winning CL because Real and City will be strong favourites
Therefore it would need to be individual achievements e.g. X amount of goals, top Bundesliga scorer etc.

I guess that part of the negotiations are going to be challenging.

In terms of life after Kane, it's a scary thought but we will move on. Sometimes take for granted the things he has done for us as he has been so consistent with his numbers.

In terms of who we bring in, interesting to see to see what we do. Would have loved Osimhen in Ange's setup but that ship sailed a while back and is a pipe dream.

Like the look of Muani but by all accounts Frankfurt want serious money for him and not sure I can see Levy spending the majority of the Kane fee on one player. Can't help but feel Vlahovic maybe looked at. Sounds as though Juve are open to offloading him and so no doubt Levy with a little help from Paratici may see a deal to be done there.

Just in my lifetime:

Klinsmann
Sheringham
Keane
Defoe
Berbatov
Kane

We’ll be alright.
Carrick was another one for me. He was such an underrated player at the time and we struggled to find a decent defensive midfielder for years after that.

Sad to see him go, but we will be fine mate 👍
Plus removes Damocles sword from above us. Inevitable but better to lose him for 85-100M abroad than for nothing next year.

We blew his prime hiring negative managers but the past is past.

now we can move onto the next cycle and look forward and hope we can build back to something special.

If anyone offers £100m+ for him at his age and remaining contract, selling him is the right thing to do, in my opinion. Especially to a non-PL team. You can’t replace Kane but if we took that money and reinvested it across the team, I think we’d be in a good place. The problem is, we can have absolutely no confidence that they have any idea how, or intention, to spend the money we get. I can see us selling Kane and still be scratching around for bargain basement centre backs at the end of August.
