Yeah I don't get the fanbase that seem to want him to go elsewhere and win things? Like why? Why would I want any other English club to win a competition over us if we are in it.

Also, we have got to 3 finals with Kane and he has delivered nothing. No one else did in those finals either but still, a player of his calibre should thrive in a final and be able to turn it on. Same for England in the Euros final.

Love the bloke, best player I have ever seen and will go down as a club legend but I don't want him to go to another English team, would rather he went abroad.
Honestly i wouldn't want him to win a throw in with another English club let alone a trophy. Bollox to that.

if he wants to try himself in another league i'll wish him all the best but i'd still feel a bit bitter that he has left us to chase a trophy rather than going shit or bust here.

one league cup with us would mean more than 5 trophies at a super club, maybe not to him but certainly to his legacy in my eyes.

The finals criticism is hugely unfair particularly from our own fans who know full well he wasn't fit to play in the CL or Carabao Cup finals. He rushed back because he was unfortunate to get injured but was never going to miss a final.

There is no doubt he belongs at the top level and deserves to win trophies. However he signed a long term contract and is our highest earner so needs to honour it. Leave on a free next year with a massive signing on fee instead. I get the feeling he will have better options next summer too. See if Halland goes to Madrid or even if not City would probably have him on a free. See if Newcastle level up now they have CL as they could be the next City. See how Chelsea do under Poch. See if Utd can make the next step because they're still a long way from the title. I can't see him going abroad until he wins things in this country. He would have grown up dreaming of the Premier League and FA Cup. I'm sure he will want to try and accomplish those and the all time record scorer before leaving the country.

I can't see Utd competing with City for the league or CL next season, even with Kane

By no means certain to win anything there

Can't see it

Still think he goes to City on a free next summer

I feel so so sorry for him having to play for Tottenham Hotspurs a really really insignificant Club with a small ground and terrible training facilities

His wages are probably ok to keep a roof over his head but he could undoubtedly earn more elsewhere

He has served Spurs quite well over the years but he must now leave to go and play for a big club where he can win things which will also stop us from winning anything, again

God bless him and let’s all have a big party for him and send him on his way with all our best wishes for a really successful future in his pursuit of silverware

Now where was that ST renewal email, must follow that up asap

Don't be so silly.

this self pity around Kane needs to stop - why would we possibly want our main man to go and strengthen a rival whilst significantly weakening us.
We are miles behind Man Utd anyway and have other priorities (i.e. huge rebuild) right now. Anyone thinking we can compete with Manchester United next season is being cynical. Keeping an unhappy Kane at the club and not breaking into the top 4 next season can only backfire. We much rather pocket GBP 100 mn right now.

I agree. I think that is what Kane will want and probably why he seems so unfussed about staying next season (versus a few seasons back when he was clearly pushing).

If I'm Kane, the situation is perfect for me....I love Spurs, stay another season and see how it goes, score a few more goals to close on the record...if the new manager works out great I can stay...if not I go to City on a free and play with Haaland, Grealish and Debruyne, scoring 35 goals a season and winning trophies. Nice way to end the career and gave his all to the club. Perfect situation for him.

He could go to United and win f*ck all plus have to live in Manchester.

Go ask the top 5/6 clubs in the country how much they would spend for a striker who guarantees you 25+ goals a season.

Chelsea spend about £150m a season on strikers trying to find the right one.

We would be better off keeping him for 1 more season knowing he will score 25 or more goals and try to get us back to European football than selling him, having no goalscorer in the squad and fumbling around trying to build the squad.

We need to buy a replacement whilst Kane is here, not when he is gone. Is Richarlison the answer? Probably not having seen him this season, he is a good player but not capable of being a 25 goal a season striker for me.

We pocket 100m and let them have Kane i can pretty much guarantee you that the 5 win swing between the two teams will be much larger next year.

a few good signings and a decent managerial appointment and there won't be much daylight between the two teams with us keeping Kane.

We would be better off only IF he fires us into the CL. Have some doubts about that. Keeping Kane only to get Uefa Cup football, financially, makes 0 sense. We will only be worse off in one year’s time.

Kane has a chance to set a massive high tide mark in the PL, England and us. Leave himself in a situation where his name stays in the history books. Must be tempting

If he turns down Real to chase Shearer’s record I think he’s an idiot, frankly. Some day someone will chase down his record and he’ll have nothing. Go to Spain, win a title and maybe a CL. Nobody can take those achievements away.

It's being in Manchester winning feck all versus being in Manchester playing under Guardiola, alongside Haaland and DeBruyne, challenging for trebles....with all that I might even consider living in Manchester myself.😬

They've had 1 good season (more like half a season) under Ten Hag. Before that they were hit and miss for years. They've won a few trophies but they could quite easily slip away again. No guarantees he'll win anything at Utd imo.

I'm definitely not in the "let him leave, we've let him down" camp, but Real Madrid is Real Madrid. He'd be perfect for them.

Still tell him no of course. But it's the least hurtful option for fans probably.

How many PL titles has Wes Brown got? And who cares?

If he’s the family man that it appears, then upping sticks for another country may not even be in his thinking. Who knows?! 🤷🏻
