Here you go. Will he ever be able to play fullback under a new coach if we go 4 at the back. Discuss.

Udogie is way way too good to have this be an actual solution moving forward. He’s arguably the most dynamic LB in Europe when in flight. You’ll see next year.We just have to play a LB that sits deep and doesn't push forward much if we play Porro RB in a 4. We did this all the time back in the BAE/Rose + Corluka days, works fine.

So he's being transferred to another club?I really think he’ll be fine in a back four. A preseason really focusing on his 1 on 1 defending and awareness and he’ll improve. As other have said, it will also make a big difference playing in a team that is on the front foot rather than expecting him to hold position and defend space.

I've watched him plenty. I think he has his limitations personally but agreed, exciting prospect. Nonetheless, it's a good problem for the new manager to have. I think Udogie/Emerson will end up being the go to.Udogie is way way too good to have this be an actual solution moving forward. He’s arguably the most dynamic LB in Europe when in flight. Yes, then the question is are there better winger options out there for us than him. If yes, then he may have to sacrificed if we are going to move a 4 rather than keep him as a winger.I like him but I think the only place he can play in the PL is as a winger.
But decent wingers have a bit of paceI like him but I think the only place he can play in the PL is as a winger.
Yeah. They need time, but can’t help thinking…I'm still unsure on Porro I have to admit, I find him a bit frustrating, at least on what he's shown thus far. Just find him to be a bit loose in possession of the ball. I think he tries the right things, especially from a forward thinking perspective, but the quality of his execution can be poor.
Like Richarlison though, he's a player I feel I have to see in a functioning side.
