Chelsea a few weeks ago before appointing Interim Frank?
Don't think Chelsea appointed an interim manager to sack. They just said an interim manager announcement would follow. Although if Stellini is the first interim manager to have been sacked, I daresay Fat Frank will be close behind him in second soon enough.

Bloody Mason. I'm still getting over his last stint.

God knows why he's ever been part of the coaching staff. It was strange having him in the Conte set up.

If we feel we owe him a living that much stick him in an office or something.
He won like 4 out of 6, it was fine? Like not earth shattering, but what else did you expect in a team playing so badly it sacked it's manager?

Hi Guys, Danny Here.

Just a quick update, we’ve sacked Ry, didn’t work out…my responsibility (although it was really because Tone, Cris and Ry were pony at their Jobs)

see you next season

Dear All,
Sunday’s performance against Newcastle was wholly unacceptable. It was devastating to see. We can look at many reasons why it happened and whilst myself, the Board, the coaches and players must all take collective responsibility, ultimately the responsibility is mine.
Cristian will leave his current role along with his coaching staff. Cristian stepped in at a difficult point in our season and I want to thank him for the professional manner in which he and his coaching staff have conducted themselves during such a challenging time. We wish him and his staff well.
Ryan Mason will take over Head Coach duties with immediate effect. Ryan knows the Club and the players well. We shall update further on his coaching staff in due course.
I met with the Player Committee today - the squad is determined to pull together to ensure the strongest possible finish to the season. We are all clear we need to deliver performances which earn your amazing support.
COYS, Daniel
I’m convinced that he’s now trolling us. 😂

If we forfeited all of our remaining matches, spared us any injury, and further decline of players' values, avoid Europe competition altogether, and none of us would have to watch Winks playing in Skipp's kit, that might not be the worst thing. Come to think of it, I really can't find a downside to this proposal.

I can see the point in what people are saying, that saying it's your responsibility and then letting somebody else go does seem a bit contradictory but I think it's about action and he has taken some action. I agree with those who say this statement reads differently and I'm glad to see him take the responsibility but talk is easy (I should know I do it on here all day). It's about what he does and ultimately it's his game so he has unlimited lives it seems so I really hope he is going to finally see the light and take the actions needed rather than worrying about perception.

I think for us fans though, if this attempt from Levy does not work and we wind up frustrated and angry then we only have ourselves to blame, it's his monopoly board and so whilst we can root for the changes to be made, if we keep turning up to play expecting things to be different this time then we're the fools not him. I say expect nothing, hope for everything.
Whether you think he's the right man or not, it's hard to fault his loyalty and willingness to step up when needed.

We're going down the Netflix route - a new director per episode, a very avant-garde take on coaching

It's the right call to get the old coaching regime out now. Stellini was totally out of his depth.

That message reads differently to the usual PR stuff and deliberately so.

I work in comms and my reading of that statement is he knows this mess is his and he's under huge pressure to sort it out.

Let's see if he does.

Not saying it's a perfect statement and it will definitely piss people off, but it's about as good as you'll get in the circumstances. What matters is what happens next.
Agree. I don’t think that this is ‘off his own back’ either. Reads like a ‘shotgun release’.
