We weirdly were much the better side against them at home even with missing players. We just had two big mistakes that cost us including a properly awful ref decision.
but our confidence is so low now just feel we need to play players who are hungry like danjuma, richie etc.

Me too. It’s the most spursy outcome after losing to Bournemouth
See, I've been down that mental path and I still can't see it. We've gone into matches as the underdogs and unexpectedly come out on top plenty but we're just so lacking in... everything... at the moment. I haven't felt this pessimistic about a match in a very long time. Even when I think "but what if...?" like an over-eager child I catch myself and think "oh yeah but we're still shit and we're going to set up like absolute cowards".

There will be no enjoyment for the next 6 games. It’s going to be a slow painful death until 28 May.

I'm struggling to get excited about today at all. Will try and find anything else to do except watch it I think. Feels like I have thrown the towel in on the season after last weekend despite having lots to play for and anything can obviously happen. I hope the players still have it in them, but the bournemouth game does make me wonder. Plus when did we last win away, Fulham perhaps?

Newcastle have a good record away to us, but, believe it or not we have won 4 and drawn one of our last 5 games up there. 2 of those games had no crowd which no doubt makes a difference.
we just need to get through that first 20 mins. They were not good away to Brentford, even though they won, poor away to Villa.
are they on the slide , he plays virtually same team every time.
I like to be optimistic.

If we set up in the same way with the same players as we have all season then I will find it difficult to watch the game. Any coach can see that it's not working and with six games to go now is the time to try something different if only to please the fans and give us some hope that our coaching staff have some football know how. However I think we all know we are going to get more of the same.

If there is one team I'd love us to beat it's Beheadie Howe and the bonesaw boys.

Please Spurs.

Shame we didn’t bring in a AM instead of another defensive minded mid but I guess that’s to cover for the Perisic and Porro
