You can imagine their calls after games can’t you:

CS: “Antonio I really dont see the problem, this league is easy?!”

Something feels different when Conte isn't around. Not just me is it?

Delighted for Emerson and Davies. They were top class despite all the naysayers.
I wouldn’t say Davies was top class in the slightest, it was a great goal though. His crossing was horrendous.

Aside from the opening 5-10 minutes we completely bossed it. West Ham didn't come close until near the end when we started playing silly buggers coupled with half the team looking completely drained of energy.

Same starting XI for Chelsea unless a recovery from one of the big injuries.

Emerson, Davies and Romero very good, but most importantly it looks like we have the Skipp of about 14 months ago back. Two fantastic performances from him in a week, so happy that we have reliable options at CM.

Shame Richarlison couldn’t get a goal, would’ve completed the goalscoring Pokémon evolution of Son, Emerson, Richarlison.

The only reason Perisic is here is Conte. He’s not the same player he had at Inter. Damn shame but he’s lost a step or two.

I do wonder if Perisic could do a job more central in a 4-2-3-1 as a bit less running needed than covering wing back, but would have to see him there to know if his legs hold up more centrally.

Before the game i’d completely forgotten about Davies as an option at left wing back, I’d still prefer us to play 4-3-3 though with Davies left back.

But 3-4-3 worked today so can’t be too down on it!

How fucked would West Ham be if they went down? Reckon they’d bounce straight back up?

2nd half much better. Emerson Motm for me. Becoming a crowd favourite, love his demeanour and commitment.
With a few looks of what the hell is he doing in the south stand at the Leeds game before the World Cup I started singing our old Gomes chant ? I love you Emerson, you are the love of my life ? you never know it might catch on. I do love the guy. When someone picks themselves up like that after your own fans boo you to get off, the C word spat out at you or when you come on then ironically cheer when you come off. Hats off to him.

The first couple of mins of the second half West Ham gifted us a couple of sighters and that seemed to spark it. Stepped it up from that point and it was largely one way traffic, as it wore on found some confidence and actually looked like we enjoyed having the ball for the first time in yonks.

That was probably the most bizarro goal you are going to witness - Hojbjerg with the most sumptuous defence splitting ball for the man on the run, Davies being the guy sprinting through leaving all behind him in his wake, and finding Emerson in the centre forward position who stroked it home with the most minimal of fuss like he was playing in his back garden. Mind truly blown.

Agree with this. I think the good part of his play was taking runners with him and stretching West Ham but his delivery was underwhelming generally. He did however have the composure to get it to Royal for the first goal

Fear factor. Youre always conscious youre being judged with your manager staring at whether youre carryign out his instructions rather than having a bit of free will to achieve it how you want to achieve it.

I wont get carried away with this because we had that against Man City and we know what happened after. Chelscum next - more difficult game but winnable game.
