One thing now is, we know he really isn’t well so rather than rip into him constantly for not showing passion or whatever let’s show him a bit of respect. Get well soon Antonio.

Wishing Conte well, I wouldn't be surprised if this is how things are for remainder of the season.

I'm sorry but this post doesn't make sense to me.

So you think no matter what we cant do anything this season so we just write it off because he has been poorly?

Were in a terrible run of form and need to turn it round , if Levy came out and said what you just did the fanbase would riot.

Giving up on top four / the cups isn't an option , we have to give ourselves the best chance and showing blind loyalty to someone who is leaving anyway doesn't do that.

If you think he is the best man to turn it round then fair enough but you haven't said that? If he was staying beyond the summer then yeah my opinion would also change.

Are people just accepting the season is over now?
We just have to accept that with our injuries the first team is significantly weaker. Getting top 4 would be a miracle. Look at our win ratio with bentancur in the team and then look at it without. Not just that but no Lloris or Bissouma aswell . Hojberg isn’t going to give us anything special and both Sarr and Skipp lack first team experience. Our defence leaks goals left right and centre and Milan should have been 3-0 up. I don’t think Conte is the problem, so there is no point getting rid of him right now.

So I take it he didn’t travel back with the team then? Really does beg the question why he came back as quickly as he did in the first place?

My first cynical thought was 'gardening leave'.

But that's probably unfair given we know he was suffering during the Leicester match.

Whether he is returning as our manager or not doesn't really matter in regards wishing him well. Hope he recovers properly and fully.

Just fucking let him go, I said it before, this is the perfect opportunity to spin it as a mutual agreement due to health reasons.

Pay him, let him get better and we can start to look to the future, it's so obvious he won't be here in the summer, we're just delaying the inevitable.

I can't question his passion and love for the game. And i'm sure he loves managing.

I wouldn't have thought he particularly loves the club though or at least never really got that impression from him.

So rushing back to work after having an organ removed isn't enough to convince you?

It's not just about management at that point, he clears has a strong affinity to the players and the club.

I agree it's dreadful right now but I still wanna try something.

Looks like the choice has been made anyway.

Sad news and you can tell he's not been himself on the touchline. He needs to rest properly. However, we still have a season to salvage, considering he looks nailed on to leave in the summer would it not make sense to come to some sort of mutual agreement? Its not acceptable to throw away an opportunity for 4th, the FA CUP and a CL run.

Maybe he does want to be here but has been feeling terrible for months, he rushed back to be here when unwell.

He looked dreadful before the match in Milan and clearly needs R&R along with perhaps the wider issues of missing family and bereavement of close friends.

Health must always come first.

We seem to play with much more confidence when Stellini is on the touchline so hopefully this is a good thing.

But get well soon Antonio
