Incredible today. That 352 really brings out his under appreciated attacking support and winning the ball higher up the pitch.

He'll get even better in a three. More protection to go forward and generally scrapping about for the ball.

Bossed it tonight.

Superb.

Not my favourite player, but I recognise that a lot of his apparent limitations are largely down to playing in a 2 man midfield which is constantly overrun. Thought he and Bentancur were excellent last night, hopefully we will see more of the 3 man midfield going forward.

I think he has been brilliant again this season. He is so underrated. He is actually pretty skillful as he has shown a few times. He is getting forward a bit more this season as well hence the goals.

I feel like I’m missing something with Højberg, I’m seeing him getting praised and lauded everywhere for his performance yesterday, and in general this season but I was continually frustrated and annoyed with him yesterday. Maybe it’s just me and I have a subconscious bias against all this ‘Viking’ bollocks, but I don’t really understand

There's no doubt he's been very good this season.

He use to frustrate me quite a lot, still does here and there - but so can any player.

Overall though he's been very good, and does get through a lot of selfless work.

Actually think he'll be even better in a three.

But yesterday he made some really important tackles/interceptions and turned it over really efficiently.

We know his limitations as a player and for some they will not be able to look past them but he really has been excellent this season for us and is hitting a really high level of reliability and consistency in the middle of the park. He does so much good work that often goes unnoticed.

I feel the same. He definitely had a good game yesterday and pressed very well but nothing else he did was anywhere close to exceptional and people saying he’s one of the best in the world just confirms people need to watch a lot more non-spurs football because he’s absolutely nowhere near. Saying he’s one of the best in the PL would be a huge stretch on it’s own. He’d probably get into United’s midfield other than ours in the traditional top 6 and that’s it

Yeah, I'm a big fan of his but even I think that calling him one of the best in the world is a bit of a stretch.
That being said, I do think he's a very, very good player and not just for what he does on the pitch.
His attitude and drive must be infectious and it's easy to see why he's a coaches dream. He's intelligent and not only able to carry out the gaffers instructions, he's like having an extension of the boss out on the pitch.

I also think he's massively underrated ability wise, especially in here.
There's a reason that Madrid were sniffing around him.
