Because Guardiola heavily rotates his team while Conte isn't doing that, and they pay much higher wages?
I mean it's not like Conte hasn't said he's gone with what he had last season because they've had 7 months to understand what he wants them to do. He's now started Perisic because he again understands the managers philosophy and is closer to being 100% fitness wise, and the others will come in as they gain more understanding. Comparing him to a manager that has been working with his squad for years is pretty pointless tbh.

Really surprised he isnt the player we want. HG, prem proven and having been told we want a ball carrying forward, he's literally one of the best in the world at dribbling.

Maybe Conte doesn’t like Zaha’s attitude, not his actual playing ability.

I do like Zaha as a footballer, and would be very happy for us to sign him, but to be honest many, if not most, times we've played against Palace I've personally thought he looks like he can get rattled and riled by clever defenders winding him up - and spends too long moaning at the ref, when given his skills he should be doing the rattling.

Baffling to many of us I think but what can you do?

hopefully we are able to get someone decent under the radar.

Kane-Son-Kulusevski-Richarlison-Zaha

That’s an absolutely ferocious Premier League attack force. Ridiculous strength in depth. Go get him FP.

Spot on, I mentioned earlier in this thread that being able to take Son & Kulusevski off and bring on Richarlison & Zaha, with Harry dropping behind them would mean we are a completely different team to play against. I personally think he would be an excellent signing.

Although he's not exactly the type of player I was thinking he would be very exciting. It would also round off us signing one of the best from outside the top 6. Maybe loaning Winks has put our requirement for a homegrown higher in priority now.

Honestly best case scenario. Home grown, in his prime and built in a lab to play on the wing for Conte’s team (vertical dribbler, comfortable playing central to create space for wingbacks and strong as an ox).

Also will be reasonably cheap and not tie us down forever if we find a younger replacement. Hope it comes off!

Why would Palace sell, I know it's the last year of his contract, but by selling him they could get relegated.

Why would zaha come to spurs as well.. to be a rotation player? Financially he wouldn't be much better off and didn't he support arsenal as well (not that this has much of a bearing on things these days).

I'd be amazed if this happens. Great player and would be a real coup for us, but can't see it from palace/wz point of view.

If we don't buy Zaha I'll be nonchalent but if we buy him I am absolutely certain he won't let us down.

how much would palace want to sell him ? Especially after the way he has started the season . They would be mad to sell . Surely they would want north of 50m
