Agreed. If Bremer comes in I'm not sure there's a need for Sanchez, which means we could potentially use him in a deal for Badiashile, as Monaco are reportedly interested in Davinson. Badiashile can cover CCB so that would be a good set of centre halves (Badiashile, Dier, Romero, Bremer, Davies) assuming Rodon goes as well
Poor Japhet :(

Romero has done well playing at both CCB and I believe LCB when other players have been out but I think he's so good at RCB it's wasteful to put him at LCB. His passing is incisive and that's negated to an extent by playing on the left - everything is less natural as a result. Really think we need a strong passer at LCB as well as RCB. There would be plenty of games to go around for Bremer if he signed
Oh I definitely agree with you. I was just wondering if we didn't find a decent enough lcb, it would just be amazing to have both Romero and Bremer on each side. Absolute beast mode.

There’s alot more that I want to add to this that I have shared bits with the mods but cannot atm the player will come here tho he’s isn’t tied to inter as reports speculate. There abit of tension let’s say . Nothing agreed tho may I stress yet !!!

I've seen Sanchez get bullied off the ball and beaten in the air quite a few times.

Bremer seems like a different beast to me.

No one is bullying him.
Yep.

I found that he has that presence and understands how to use his body strength to prevent players getting beyond him. Sanchez has a habit sometimes of trying to play the man but forgetting about the ball which allows the attacker to get a foot to it.

Bremer seems more composed in this respect. Also he is an absolute unit, as you point out, he is not brushed off the ball like Sanchez can be.

Hopefully a swap deal for Benoît Badiashile (I definitely didn't google and paste that btw) For Sanchez along with landing Bremer, I think financially that'd be better than outlay for Bastoni tbh.

Would be fantastic business.

Think I’d sooner Bremer than Bastoni tbh.

Been my preference from day one.. admittedly ive based this on youtube videos for both. Although Bastoni is a much better ball players, I think Bremer from a defensive standpoint, he just seems built for the league.

This would be an incredible outcome if at all possible.

Swap deals are so difficult and unlikely 2 separate transfers are less complicated but still tough .

Interesting. The tension must be to do with his apparent gentlemens agreement with inter, and spurs approach would clearly turn his head. Just my opinion.

The issue is if we sign Badiashile for example, we will have 2 LCBs, Bremer as our main CB signing.

I know we will be rotating etc but my point is mainly that with 2 LCBs surely Bremer would then be competing with Romero and Dier to start? Whilst we won’t have got an established LCB upgrade?

Not moaning, just want to see what others think about that kind of scenario?

Appreciate the info, yeah the monetary values never equal up, just a lazy way of expressing that we send the players in opposite directions :D

Yes that's poor on my part, but just shows the depth we would have!

LCB - Badiashile (?), Davies
CCB - Dier, Badiashile, Bremer
RCB - Romero, Tanganga, Bremer

True that pairing would absolutely dominate, so aggressive

The issue is neither present that 'ball-playing' ability that Conte requires in this system.

Davies has done well at LCB but the reason we wish to upgrade here is because Davies is not that player, he can't carry the ball successfully through the thirds neither can he play those first time passes.

Bremer and Badiashile both have limitations too.
It's a tricky one because if you go with Torres or Bastoni you have the perfect answer in attack but defensively you may be more exposed. Whereas Bremer provides the opposite.

Badiashile + Bremer would be a dream. Good bit of squad building too, in the event that Romero continues his astounding trajectory and Madrid come knocking in 3 years time with a massive offer.

Tanganga would get about 200 minutes in that setup, badly needs a loan if he’s just going to be third choice.
