In talks for bremer if he comes a lesser profile lcb will come in with him. Passed on further details to the mods earlier

Ties in with local reports in Turin if aggregators are to be believed too.

Certainly fits the bill for the PL and the last Serie A defender of the year worked out well...

If this comes off, we'll have the meanest team in the league. I don't mind ball a playing cb, but have always preferred pitbulls. Him, Romero, with Bissouma in front will be absolute filth.

Fantastic news, cheers mate.

Would love Badiashile to be that LCB.
Agreed. If Bremer comes in I'm not sure there's a need for Sanchez, which means we could potentially use him in a deal for Badiashile, as Monaco are reportedly interested in Davinson. Badiashile can cover CCB so that would be a good set of centre halves (Badiashile, Dier, Romero, Bremer, Davies) assuming Rodon goes as well

Made a scouting video on him (not possible to do a real deep report due to lack of material) but I highlighted the following.

+ Great anticipation when balls come into the central areas and channels.
+ Aggressive and powerful, gets touch tight quick so prevents attackers from turning.
+ Powerful aerially and anticipates shots whilst getting blocks in very well.
+ Better as a CCB rather than a LCB.
+ Exceptional at 1v1s. Tough to beat because of his strength, anticipation and speed.
- Passing range is not so dynamic and his success rate for passes in defensive third is low (This could be because Torino are pressed.)
- Not the best in construction as he doesn't punch passes with great accuracy, even under no pressure.

He sounds a lot like Sánchez here. Same issues, same strengths. There is a reason we forked out a record fee for Sánchez.

This has got me wondering. Could Romero possibly play LCB and have Bremer RCB? That way we can have some proper aggressive front foot defenders on either side of Dier.

I've seen Sanchez get bullied off the ball and beaten in the air quite a few times.

Bremer seems like a different beast to me.

No one is bullying him.

Out of interest. Why does he have no international caps?

I heard he was working towards his Italian residence. Maybe as a consequence he turned down Brazil?

Romero has done well playing at both CCB and I believe LCB when other players have been out but I think he's so good at RCB it's wasteful to put him at LCB. His passing is incisive and that's negated to an extent by playing on the left - everything is less natural as a result. Really think we need a strong passer at LCB as well as RCB. There would be plenty of games to go around for Bremer if he signed

Think they’re both a bit too high profile with Dier and Romero.
Yes possibly but within budget so perhaps we really are going for real strength in depth for every position, even if Conte typically rotates his CBs less than other positions (based on a hunch rather than stats so happy to be proven wrong)

I'll hold my hands up, I haven't really seen him play or can't remember watching him. From what I've seen on YouTube, he plays more on the left with a right foot?
