We do, with Reguilon the one to make way if we do.That’s 2 new LWB links in a couple days, maybe we do want another one
I think it's mainly to do with the long term fitness of Sessegnon. It may help to have an extra lwb to cover in case sessegon is out for any length of time.I agree.
Just hypothesizing why we're looking to sign another LWB.
Conte likes having 2 players for every position - so it seems odd having 3.
Maybe he can take on corner duty.? I think we’ve had ITK that The Wijndal Takes Them All?We do, with Reguilon the one to make way if we do.
This type of thinking really annoys me (and you are not the only one with this view as most of the media does as well). When the season starts we and the Liverpools and Man Cities of this world will all start at 0. Its not a case that they will continue to have 30 points (or whatever the amount is) head start!Lol....league...naaah...a cup yes. League we were 30 points off it.
If it’s a change of philosophy then fine if it proves to work. Whatever we’ve tried before, for the most, hasn’t.This is gonna sound like I'm knocking our business and it's not meant to come across that way...... we doing business.. great... we not waiting until the last weeks....great
For me it's 3 players north of 30 and a prospect for the future. The window has juuuuust opened and I'll get excited when I see quality that's long term. Once again I'm not knocking our business.....I'm more circumspect at this moment in time.... not excited not disappointed etc.
Not sure I think that’s necessary tbh. Interesting logic. We do, with Reguilon the one to make way if we do.
Richarlison is in advanced negotiations to switch from Everton to Tottenham. The value of the negotiation is around 60 million euros. Brazilian striker already discusses contract with Spurs
The news is flying in today chaps!
?
Personally not heard anything on this but there is plenty I don't hear so could well be true.
Hate his attitude and how he carries himself on the pitch (falling over 500 times) but I would be interested to see what Conte could do with him and it was rumoured a few weeks back that he was a big fan.
Agreed! Also, I would hazard a guess this may well be true as we supposedly tried Rashford and so he would fit the type of player we are after. I did say yesterday that LCB & S would be the two biggest outlays this window but I know that's not groundbreaking.I genuinely think Conte could turn him into a monster.
He pretty much singlehandedly saved Everton from relegation.

Most likely due to Sessegnon's injury problems, plus Perisic can play either wing back or wide forward. Not sure I think that’s necessary tbh. Interesting logic.
Thanks for sharing
€60m is on the steep side, though.I genuinely think Conte could turn him into a monster.

Just Wondering where we would’ve finished if conte (edit) had us for the whole season? I’m sure there is a table or stat that would show performance since Conte’s arrival against the big four? This type of thinking really annoys me (and you are not the only one with this view as most of the media does as well). Someone posted stats the other day showing Perisic has barely ever played on the right. You don’t bring in a WC LWB and put them on the right. Most likely due to Sessegnon's injury problems, plus Perisic can play either wing back or wide forward.
