i like Molina more than Singo

Agree. I feel almost all the RWBs we’ve been linked are lacking in one or two areas, including Singo whose passing looks average at best.

On the other hand, Molina looks good-to-strong in all departments. Plus he has a devastating shot in his locker, too. He’s my current top RWB pick this summer…

I also like the looks of Pedro Porro at Sporting and obviously Livramento at Southampton, but the latter will be almost impossible to pry away from his parent club.

And Calvin Robinson at Aberdeen looks a great young talent. He’d be a really good buy-and-loan signing for the future.

Whatever wing backs we get in, you'd like to think Conte will excel in who will be the best fits.

If he wants Singo & Perisic as rumoured, get them in.

Ahh, the WhatsApp group then. Expect to hear something from Ally down the line about this then.

tbf wasnt too detailed just said we like Tielemans but obvs a lot of competition so top 4 will be needed. Hes a long term club target and surprised we like him but I guess we need depth and offers something different?

Eriksen is a definite target for the 10 role. The Levy issue shouldn't be a concern as he loves Conte.

Bale's next move looks dependent on Wales, so I'd assume if they dont qualify he will retire?

Spence reminds me a lot of Walker before Poch got hold of him. Raw pace and power but quite unrefind technically.

Before Poch, Walker was raw pace & power, quite unrefined and used his pace to bail himself out of the shit.

Poch came in. Walker was raw pace & power, quite unrefined and used his pace to bail himself out of the shit.

He was sold.

Today, Walker is still raw pace & power, quite unrefined and uses his pace to bail himself out of the shit.

Good work, Poch.

Said it a few weeks ago and after the weekend I'm more convinced - Jacob Ramsey is a future star. I am sure at some point all the big clubs will set their sights on him and we should be in the hunt.

Any chance we could bring in Nkunku in the summer? Doesn't seem too realistic to me personally but he's a very versatile player and I'd be interested to see what he could do at RWB in Conte's 3-4-3 for instance, as well as giving us some further options in midfield as we are supposedly looking for an 8.

Yeah, because we didn’t have one of the best defences in Europe during peak Poch. Walker was never perfect, and even Pep hasn’t made him perfect but he made significant strides from pre-Poch.

You would buy Nkunku and look to play him at RWB?? ....Kill me now!

Yep, I'd experiment with it in some games as well as playing him in his natural position when we need it. He's played there before and out on the wing, just generally seems like a very versatile player. Honestly haven't been blown away by any suggestions so far for who we could bring in at RWB, and I think we need somebody with more of an attacking profile to add to our current options.

a midfield choices of Skipp, Bentancur, Hojbjerg, Tielemans and Eriksen would be truly competitive
Solid list, people on here seem to have gone off Tielemans. But at the right price could work.

I'd like us to look at Christoph Baumgartner, think he could add something different and wouldn't cost a fortune

One transfer option IMO we should look at & try earnestly is Paul Pogba.

Hear me out :

I hate the player he is/was in United. For me, at club level he was disillusioned. Now coming out on free transfer - he can pick where he wants to go. Most probably will go to PSG or Madrid. If we are ok to sanction his salary - which could be on par with likes of Kane.

Paratici did the deal to get Pogba on free transfer at Juventus from United back in 2011. Manager who developed Pogba then as 19yr old was Conte. So, if there is a manager who could keep Pogba in check & get the best out of him, it is Conte.

We need to add more quality in CM. We may be able to get a cheaper option elsewhere. But if we could convince Pogba and can find a way to get him, we would be adding world class quality in midfield. Under Conte, he could potentially bring out his French national team form.
If we're rigidly sticking to 3:4:3, he might be useful in Bentancur's role. Yes, I'm serious. We don't have anyone else with Bentancur's style and capability. Pogba plays a similar style.

I would love to go for Nkunku.

Personally I would sack off signing a sterotypical number 9 who's just going to sit on the bench and I'd go for a flexible attacker who can play across the front 3, just like City and Liverpool do.

Nkunku would fit that role perfectly as he can play inside left or inside right and even as a striker.

I'd sell Lucas and bring Nkunku in, keep Bergwijn and go with these 5 as our main attacking options:
Kane
Son
Kulusevski
Nkunku
Bergwijn

Could then have one of Scarlett or Parrott as the 6th option who won't get much gametime. In fact loan them both out for alternating 6 month periods.

I feel the below could be realistic for the summer:

In

Johnstone - Backup GK = £0
Singo - RWB = £12M
Bastoni - LCB = £50M
Eriksen - CM/CAM = £0
Tielemans - CM = £25/£30M
Martínez - ST = £60M

Singo looks athlete first to me. Suspect technique, which we know will get found out pretty quickly with less time on the ball

I hope we don't go for Tielemans. He's a good player, although I think people have always been a bit OTT in here about him, but I just don't see him fitting in here with this system.

Looks a bit disinterested to me this season too which is a red flag.

So did Eriksen but we'd all love him back.

I do agree that Tielemans seems an odd Conte choice. They will go for Mckennie first but cant see him being sold.

Tielemans makes Hojbjerg seem rapid. He's usually blowing out of his arse by the 60th minute. Couldn't think of a more unsuited player to play in our CM2.
