The deflating thing isn’t even the performance or the current squad. It’s the complete and utter lack of urgency regarding both ins and outs in the transfer market with Paratici and Levy seemingly happy to end the season early. We need 6 players in and up to 10 out over this window and next. Not a chance it will happen if we don’t get at least 1-2 in now.

In every single game our players seem surprised to be receiving the ball from a team mate and can’t control the ball or complete loss track of the pass and get nowhere near it. Contrast that to other top teams whose players seem to assume they’ll get a pass regardless of where they are and are always ready to receive the ball.

Golini, Doherty, Tanganga, Royal, PEH are dreadful, and winks and GLC are average at best - none of them get anywhere near this Chelsea team.

Thats how far we have fallen in 2-3 years, and that’s why they are 3 up on aggregate without really breaking a sweat

The strange ones for me are Doherty as LWB, as the bloke can't even kick the ball with his left foot (& can barely kick it with his right) & Gollini instead of Lloris
