Lloris: 3. Poor distribution throughout kept us on the back foot and got Dier injured.

Reguilon: 3. Ran up and down a bit. End product was absolutely atrocious.

Rodon: 7. Came on and barely put a foot wrong. Promising performance.

Tanganga: 4. Was good until the pointless sending-off, that now leaves us short for our next game.

Emerson: 5. Beaten by Zaha a few times, but overall a pretty average performance.

Skipp: 5. Anonymous. No major mistakes, but didn't do much defensively or in possession.

Winks: 5. Busy. The only player who wanted the ball, but failed to do anything with it.

Hojbjerg: 4. Anonymous. Offered nothing at all in the box-to-box role and wasted our only promising half-chance with a baffling pass.

Dele: 3. No movement, no passing, no creativity, no shots.

Lucas: 6. The only bright spark with his dribbling.

Kane: 3. Tripping over his own feet at every opportunity, lazy in his movement.

Davies: 3. Out of position in a team down to ten men, and he played like it.

Nuno: 0. Changed the formation to one the players clearly didn't understand or enjoy. Named a line-up devoid of creativity, and we saw entirely predictable results as we created nothing and couldn't sustain possession or pressure. Changed nothing despite the obvious failings, and by leaving it so late, let Palace get a strangle-hold on the game. His decision not to bring on Gil in reaction to Palace's second can only be understood as him giving up entirely.

There’s good reason I was genuinely hoping City would stump up £125m + add-ons for Kane in the summer. Levy wouldn’t have sold him anyway but we could’ve really reinforced the squad with that money. Kane’s done, he’s only interested in England and moving next summer.

If Nuno continue like this he wont last long. I don't want him to fail but I can't see him succeed. Four games in and he shows no sign of flexibility in his system. Our midfield just doesn't work. The midfield in his 4-3-3 is really bad in terms of keeping the ball and creating chances. If they can't do that, Nuno need more bodies higher up in the pitch, a 4-2-3-1 with Alli behind Kane.

Was Nuno giving two fingers to Levy over the Traore saga today? Refusing to try to attack or replace his forwards.
are you kidding he doesn't care, he knew what he was getting into when he came to us. Say you don't need anymore signing publicly and take the fall when not having decent depth bites us in the ass

Laughable.

Only positives I can pick out are I think Lucas looked great first half and certainly our most dangerous player. Emerson I thought started well to be honest. In time he'll be good.

But my word we need better depth. Should have brought on Ndombele/Gil at half time.

We got what we deserved for a terrible performance. However, how was that not a foul on Lucas prior to the Tanganga/Zaha incident? Also Zaha should have seen red. Not defending Japhet either, he was stupid to challenge minutes after a booking.

Nuno has a lot of work to do. The South America debacle, injuries to Son/Bergwin and now Dier have ruined us. Kane looked disinterested the whole game. Saddens me.
finally, someone who's not knee jerking to the extreme - your thoughts are well balanced and fair. we were poor but nuno out, paratici clueless etc etc is such shit form 4 games into the season. Nuno's has had to deal with kane saga since he joined, then the south america / fifa crap over our players plus a bunch of injured players returning. Reading posts here its like he's had a fully fit squad - if this is the reaction to a loss in a game that is always tough for us at their home then I think many on here should save their hearts and keyboards and pack it in because its gonna be a long season of ups/downs whilst players bed in, etc. What is clear though is that we need to get rid of winks, probably dele needs to play from the bench and its time to bed in the players like Gil, Romero, emerson, etc into the first team. I'm pretty frustrated by this loss but there's plenty more games this season to right this performance

He wouldn’t have seen the pitch today. It’s also becoming clear that Gil was very much a Paratici buy.

why? He picked up a knock whilst on Spain u21 duty and we have the Conference League game on Thursday in which you would expect him to play. At 0-0 Nuno was getting him ready to come on, at 1-0 he wouldn’t have made much difference as we were truly awful from start to finish.

What do you think I was doing during the game.

It was still shit. Doesn't take away from the cowardice display and shite tactics.

Genuinely one of our top 5 worst performances of the PL era. We've lost by more than three before but it's rare to have absolutely no positives, no moments of brilliance, no spells of good attacking play and barely an effort on goal against a side thus far winless in the league.

A big fat steaming pile of shite from the manager to every player on the pitch.

At least the new site looks nice. Cheers @Rob

Just shameful.

This is the return to our DNA we were "promised"?

I want Gil starting every game he feels able to start with zero pressure on him.

I want N'Dombele earning something of his wage and just rag the guy into the ground if necessary, he is capable of at least something forward thinking per game.

I'd rather carry two attacking players with an attempt at our DNA, than carry other players in order to play this defensive shite.

Not even upset with Tananga in the slightest, at least the lad has shown some fight and anger and some team spirit.

No personality in the management or team.

This is not on nuno. He’s been thrown to the wolves. There wasn’t a proper investment in the squad this summer - simple as that. Nuno really didn’t have navy choices here. Playing Ndombele is managerial suicide and Gil is a kid. It’s hardly serious depth to call upon from a creative sense. This defeat was down to squad depth and lies at levy’s door.
