Does Nuno take 9 years to integrate new signings like Poch did? if so we may be looking at Son as our CF for a decent while.

I was one of them who said don't even answer phone unless its £170m plus. BUT we didnt expect him to act the way he did.

If he was the model pro and carried on as he was then we could have had that luxury but now we have to be realistic and get him out if he is being toxic and this window is the best opportunity we will ever have to rebuild and be strong in all areas, considering that players across Europe are cheaper.

As long as replacements are agreed, we shouldnt be getting rid and I'm pretty sure we wont.

So City decline to comment, so who exactly is telling them they are confident of a deal going through at £120m of all prices?

Jack the journo then realises he was playing FM till 5am in the morning last night after writing this story thereafter lol ... he then remembers FM version of Levy 'Up Middle Fingered' him ?

Threw Neves and Boly straight into Championship, a kid in Fabio Silva straight into the mixer and many other foreign players. Dont think we have to worry about that.

I’m still optimistic about everything as a whole even with Kane leaving, this season will be tough but we seem to have a long term plan, signing young players and Fab has started well, we won’t be the finished article by the end of the window but I’m a hell of a lot more confident than I was at the end of last season

Look mate, I'm all for being optimistic. But there's a fine line for also being outright deluded for where we're at currently.

We're genuinely going to need to sign 5+ players in 3 weeks at the bare minimum - just to be competitive (CB, RB, CM, ST, ST).

I really hope Paratici has all of his targets lined up because we're running out of time and have left ourselves with a lot of work to do.
But the point is that we have time.
And you can't tell me that neither Levy or Paratici haven't been planning for such an outcome for a while.
I don't think it's too far a reach to think that we may have some options lined up, ready to pull the trigger.
We'll find out in the next couple of days but at the moment, I'm still feeling quite optimistic.

We've all been expecting this to happen for a few months, so I don't see why the heirachy wouldn't.
Plus, Fabio doesn't seem like the type to leave things to chance. Not when his reputation is on the line.

We honestly shouldn’t be so happy to just see him go. Yes he’s acted like a spoilt brat but we are still selling a world class player to a domestic rival. It needs to be uncomfortable for the whole club and owners. This should hurt.

But if we minimise damage liability by investing the funds in quality players who will ensure that the stability and power of the playing squad will allow us to genuinely challenge for major honours for many seasons to come then surely the pain would be more of a dull ache than a dagger to the heart and one we would get over very quickly.

Not sure I understand this, you'd be happier with £150m and no add-ons over £130m and £40m of add-ons? (assuming add-ons are reasonable - which with Levy we know they will be).

Personally I’d be happier with the fee being higher. Nobody will care about the add ons as city will spin it as 130m for Kane and that’s all we’ll hear about. I feel like we’ve been done over if it’s under 150m

Im slightly concerned about the market for CFs. We've missed out on Daka, Ings and probably Tammy Abraham. I'm sure we would have brought one of those in if Kane left earlier in the window. I'm not massive on Lautaro and it looks like he might be signing a new deal, whilst there are a host of sides in for Vlahovic. I guess the latter is who we will end up with though, with one more.

Both Herc and Trix have alluded to targets being pretty much ready to go. So I hope it's only a matter of time for them to pull the trigger

Jesus, before our game!?

We haven't even lined up any replacements yet.

The theory is that the "replacements" are all agreed and it's down to us to push the button. We shall see.
