If he wants to win trophies go to Madrid, Barca, psg or Bayern.

Going to a direct premier League rival and setting up against your 'own' team is a dick move.

The thing is three things are at play here - he has a young family and cant just up and move - that would be selfish. Secondly he is definitely chasing Shearers record and cant do that in any of the teams you cited. Thirdly, of the teams you cited, two dont have enough cash, one plays in a shite league and the other have the other best striker up front.

We cant be disloyal to players and say yeah Winks can fuck off then turn around and have a go at Kane for wanting to stay in the PL. We are Winks in all this.

...but for the love of everything get a Sporting Director in and don't let Hitchen decide how the money is spent.

The fact remains that unless someone bids what Levy wants for him, he’s going nowhere.

The rest of it is just theatre for advertising revenue.

Honestly guys don't do it to yourselves.

The result was shit but will not change a thing in the grand scheme of things. If Levy wants Kane to stay he will stay.

It is all redundant anyway, Levy will only delay the inevitable. Kane will leave next season, the glimmer of hope that we show ambition and give him a reason to stay next season is a pipe dream.

Levy won't sanction any gambles and we lack so much now there is no manager who could get the squad to a level needed in a year anyway.

Let's enjoy him while we can, he may have not risen to his high standards in certain cup finals etc but I can guarantee that nearly every person on this forum will not see a better player at for us.

What are great things? Were we on the cusp of a CL Cup? No we weren't, we participated.

Ok mate, well done, always gotta have the last word no mater how flawed your retort was.

if you were pissed off during those “on the cusp years” , I can’t imagine how you are feeling now, maybe give football a rest eh?

He deserves to go but unless we get 150mil+ I would make him stay. He must be regretting signing such a long contract now.

Heaven forbid he has to raise a child in Paris or Madrid! Apparently they eat children there and don't even speak English.

Play abroad to win some trophies, fine. Set up in direct opposition in a utd shirt, dick.

I have to agree. Let's be brutally honest. If he loves the club so much how can he want to play against us and compete in the same league? He is too good for us. He is also too good for every club except 5 or 6. He deserved to compete at the very top but we have to question him wanting to go to another PL team

How many signings have genuinely been Hitchen's though?

Starting with 2018 as this is when Hitchen really started the role.

Ndombele - this was Poch's priority signing
Lo Celso - again, I think this was Poch
Clarke - I imagine this was Hitchen - yet he's been very unfortunate so hard to judge plus he's one for the future
Sessegnon - see above
Bergwijn - Hitchen's - He's clearly talented but how much of this mess has affected him?
Hojbjerg - This was definitely a Jose/Levy choice. I imagine our data analysts backed it up.
Reguillon - Probably Hitchen and loads of people wanted him.
Bale - Levy
Vinicius, Gedson & Doherty - Jose special relationship
Rodon - definitely Hitchen and the scouts - great attitude and promising player
Hart - Jose/Levy

It's mostly Jose's signings and the players who have been here for too long that are holding us back (Dier, Aurier, Sanchez, Lamela, Winks, Sissoko,) At least Hitchen's signings have been the more promising players and could get better under a progressive coach.

Actually heartbreaking

Just can’t get my head round how unmotivated everyone else is around him. Nobody cares. When you see it means so much for someone naturally put more in to help them achieve and none of them give a fuck. What gets me most

None of which are Spurs, or spurs fans problem.

IF the press was briefed on his instructions then he has not only thrown his "best mate" under the bus at the worst possible time, but pretty much the entire club and everyone associated with it, including you and I..
