Both Kane and Hojbjerg agree with me. We didn’t take our chances.

Kane: I feel like we could have played better in the second half. We were a bit sloppy. We didn't take our chances and got punished for it.
I think we had some good chances. The final ball, final pass or final touch weren't quite there. That's the fine margins. We need to play better.

What would the score of been if both teams took all their chances?

I was genuinely excited when we got Mourinho, lift our profile attract players, sponsors etc but I've had enough, the way he's used/treated Bale has been a disgrace, only this week he's produced 2 genuine moments of class for 2 Wales goals yet we start with the carthorse Vinicius, then proceeds to chuck Son on who hasn't played for a month followed by Lamela, then it was going to be Sisokko as they scored,he may be a luxury but a luxury we surely can't do without when you witness the dross most of the rest serve up.
This for me sums up the manager's negativity up and how certain players seem to get thrown under the bus,as many have mentioned where was Toby today?
Not surprised at all by today and not expecting Top 6 never mind Top 4 ,also to me the manager's body language or lack of it makes me think he knows he's off.

Well, quite. That’s my point. The failure to take chances is nearly as bad as the defensive mistakes.

Come on mate, the only reason we drew the game is because of Harry ffs. You can't say that, he was on a hatrrick. Harry is the only reason we aren't languishing in the lower half of the table. If Newcastle had taken all their chances we'd have lost.

Jose has managed to convince many that he's been hard done by, Kane is carrying him completely.

Im agreeing with what Kane said. We’ve missed so many chances to bury games this season. Sure we’ve been shit in them but we’ve still missed the chances and that’s his (and our) frustration. He’s hardly going to come out and say the manager doesn’t have a game plan!

Haha true, but well he should. I do wonder what Kane is seeing in Jose, if ITK is believed that he still has faith in him. I hope he wakes up and smells the coffee.

The club needs to sack Jose regardless of what Kane thinks. Kane doesn't set the vision for the club, he isn't a football mastermind.

I had a debate with my mate about who is to blame for the run of poor unacceptable performance and results. He mentioned; if you teach or instruct your kids on how to clean their bedroom and they fail the first time. That's understandable but if after 40 different attempts and still are unable to clean their bedroom correctly. You can deduce were the problem lies.

It has been said often enough " Jose is a defence minded coach " no doubt about that and even more damning of his tenure because with forward play it seems to be left to our players to individually score our goals with the odd bit of interplay involving mostly Son and Kane the overriding feeling is it is off the cuff brilliance but once that does not work there is no structure or planned interplay to fall back on .
As for the defence for " a great coach " he has failed dismally . No doubt some off our players need upgrading but I am convinced some of these " weak minded players who lack the killer instinct " are going to prove the naysayers wrong big time when a proper coach comes in .
The days when " you dont have the ball but are in control " are long gone because the only way to have control in todays football is to have possession . Jose just does not rate or does not work on ball possession and it is an old fashioned philosophy that he has and will not move the club forward .

Calmed down now, why did José not have Toby even on the bench? Was he injured?
Absolute bunch of Rookies in our back 4 with no one decent on the bench?

There is little point in reiterating how we were absolute shite. Again.

As usual, Mourinho blames the players. Perhaps, at least on this occasion, with some justification. However, to take one example, Sanchez had an absolute nightmare. His positioning was bad, his general defending was terrible and he was incapable of giving the ball to a teammate. Yet he was left on for the entire game. It's one thing to blame the players. It's another to leave one out there who is having the worst game of his life and was constantly one fuck-up away from catastrophe.

We have a manager who every game reveals himself to be more out of touch and we have players who appear not to be playing for him. He has been a disaster almost since the day he arrived and I can't wait for him to fuck off.

The number of chances we've had to get back in contention this season is ridiculous. It's almost like we don't want CL football.

For me Sanches had been showing signs that he could be a real player . Somehow amongst all the players playing poorly he seems to be the one picked out . Still I suppose with no Winks / Sissoko / Dier / etc there must be some players to blame just do not blame our great leader .

Do you not watch the games?
The first newcastle goal: Your boy clears it....straight to a newcastle player and they are up one nill.
Before that: he lost his man totally when Hugo saved on the line.
Newcastle second goal: ball watching anf then fubmles into Rodon making it impossible for neither of them to do anything.
The whole game he was making mistakes that could have lead to more newcastle goals.
He was absolutely shocking today.
But you are right that there were others who were dogshit aswell.

My boy as you call it is not what I was talking about there was a period of about four to five games where Sanches was arguably man of the match then came Arsenal and Zagreb and since practically all the players have been bad or worse with the exception of Kane who rarely plays a bad game .
