No I agree it’s not all his fault but he has a degree of responsibility in that no doubt hence why I’ve turned on Jose tonight. I don’t think there is a way back for him now, we might as well give another coach a chance to do the impossible and bury the classic Spurs mentality once and for all.It may well be true that the players' mentality is what's causing it, but for me the blame for that still falls to Jose. Man management and motivation are well within the manager's remit and he's failed spectacularly to get this group playing against anything other than the bottom sides in the league. Whether intentional or not the quality of the performances fall to the manager.
we're not but you can get past some of that by pushing higher up the pitch and imposing yourself on Arsenal.I don’t think we are good enough to cater for him to meander around.
SC: This referee has been terrible and our performance has been terrible
SC: Let’s see what Jose’s got to say
JM: The referee made some bad decisions and our performance was really bad
SC: Oh here come the excuses!!!
They're all one of those seasons. It's what we specialise in.Nah, it's going to be one of those seasons, I can feel it.
If he's fit enough to be on the bench he's fit enough to start. He looked extremely good midweek and is fit enough to be on the bench. I don't really buy it. I guess he could have a knock or be sore from midweek.
What would Potter have said in this scenario?

You're arguing a ridiculous point. If that's the case, one of the managers you've named - Klopp - what's the personality he's imposing that has made their season go to shit? The players deserve some of the blame, but if you have a scared manager you're going to have a scared team. A team takes on the personality of the coach. The manager's can't kick a ball, but he can set up a team that can play against a smidgen of pressure. You think we'd so the same under Pep or Klopp? Instead Mourinho has up retreat into our own half and hope Kane and Son can pull off something special.
And so that bolsters my point - the pressure of the game is what did for us. You can't have it both ways, pal - you can't say that when we beat Palace it's because they let us, which derogates credit for the manager, and then state that it's all the manager's fault when virtually the exact same set up (one player change) causes us to implode. This is not on the manager.Even when we were shit and Arsenal we good we at least tried to show some intent against them. Today we treated Arsenal like they were the best team in the World even though they are a mid table team.
They've both played poorly for a few weeks now, but as my above point, the way the team is set up doesn't help them. Our patterns of play are shit and we are reliant on someone doing something special.
Reading the "average players" comments, after we'd just won 5 in a row and only conceded one, after narrowly losing a game to a dubious penalty, I can only say that there is a whole pack of people just biting at the bit for us to lose so they can come out and have their tirade.
We were second best for large spells, and we controlled for large spells. They hit the woodwork twice, we hit the post and had a narrowly offside goal disallowed, they got a dodgy penalty - the difference that settled it. In all their control they really didn't create more than us.
I'm so sick of the neagtivity. Yes, Doherty is struggling massively, but we have a reborn Lamela and Moura. Some people will never be happy unless we win the quadruple.
Why?Thursday Zagreb has all the hallmarks of incoming clusterfuck
