Danny Rose. Yes he had some good seasons for us, but nothing quite matched his debut goal against the scum. I know he has his demons, but I think with the right manager at the right time, he could really have made the England LB position his own. Had he hit his potential, we probably would have lost him to Real Madrid!

Anybody remember a very young lad who looked & played like a young Maradona? Wasn’t Marcus Edwards but looked a lot like him.
He had a YouTube video which highlighted his skills, sure I saw it on here
Are you sure it wasn’t the real Maradona? He played once for us in a testimonial game ?

Zeki Fryers, Jonathan Blondel, Milos Veljkovic, Archibald-Henville, Obika, Yuri Berchiche, Paul Jose-Mpoku, Tomas Pekhart, Musa Yahaya, Gomelt, Georgiou, Alton Thewell, Shilow Tracey.

These were all either homegrown or signed because they had a promising future yet they’ve all either flopped or not fulfilled their potential.

Alex Pritchard. Albeit possibly because of all that Barcelona talk. Iago Falque maybe, too.

I remember watching Jamie O’Hara play for our reserves v Fulham in Woking years ago and he looked like the mutt’s nuts! Jamie Redknapp played as well but O’Hara was pinging inch perfect balls with either foot and looked a class above. I was very excited when he finally started breaking into the 1st team but it only made me realise that the standard in the reserves was probably not all that after all.

Always like the look of Veljkovic. He's carved out a decent career at Bremen.

Not Spurs, but anyone remember this kid?
Coincidentally, he was mentioned last month:
At least Bostock has kept getting contracts throughout his twenties so far. You a have lots of child prodigy's like Sonny Pike who didn't succeed in making a living from football despite all the hype and media attention as a youngster.

Alex Pritchard. Albeit possibly because of all that Barcelona talk.
One of my exes was in a long term relationship with Pritchard, until she received a message from a guy saying, “Pretty sure your boyfriend is fucking my girlfriend.” :D

Turns out his missus worked as a receptionist at Swindon, where Alex was on loan, and had caught them kissing after he‘d driven there to collect her. Classy.

Yuri Berchiche has actually turned into a very good player too, annoyingly.

Troy Archibald-Henville. From watching him in the reserves I thought he was going to develop into a new Ledley King.

Josh Onomah was/is to date my biggest let down. I thought for sure he was going to be heir to Dembele throne. Who was gonna to be that all action midfielder who was strong defensively, impossible to get the ball off of and progressive in possession. I had hope he turned things around with his strong performances in the championship at the end of last season.

But I caught his limited amount of performances in the prem this season and his work rate is still so below par and he still is brave/confident enough on the ball at this level. Still time left to turn in around but he's all ready 23, which managers like Mourinho say he should a fully matured player at this point.
